Just so those of you buying or thinking of buying this know what it's doing and the implications it has for sites you put the content on, here's some info...
I'm not going to spell out exactly what it's doing but it should be pretty obvious to anyone that knows even basic HTML. In fact, any noob programmer could whip up a script or desktop app to do this in 10-15 min.
The technique being used is old and has been used by email and web content spammers for quite some time. Because of this, I'd bet money that Google looks for it. It's crazy easy to detect and there's no legitimate reason to replace characters in this manner so if it is detected... instant red flag.
In fact, you can find articles on SpamCop and various other sites going back to 2006 & 2007 talking about this stuff. And Google's Postini help files discuss how to filter out messages using this technique. Google's webmaster central blog even touches on the subject with regards to URLs. They obviously know about it.
Furthermore, you'll find lots of people talking about how non English characters in your content can affect the quality and value (meaning income for you) of the AdSense ads displayed on your site. So keep that in mind if you're using this on an AdSense site.
Passing CopyScape means nothing. CopyScape is a joke except that many article directories use it. So if you want to fool the article directories, this will work (till they figure it out and it's sad they haven't already). You'll get your back links from directory sites but this is far too easy of a technique to detect to assume Google doesn't already look for it.
Not trying to blow up your spot but I think people paying for this should have fair warning of what they're getting into.
