anyone here has more than 20 microniche mfas?

Instead of hundreds if not thousands of domains, wordpress installs, enough hosting to spread them all across etc... I just have a few authority sites covering large niches where I post micro niche articles.

This is so much better for many reasons.

1. A million times easier to maintain. Only having to check analytics for a few sites. Only having to do upgrades for a few sites. The list goes on here... Ya there are tools to help manage mass sites, but thats just more money to fork out.
2. Much much cheaper to maintain.
3. You don't have to worry about keeping the content updated across hundreds of sites. You would be posting new articles each week keeping panda happy.
4. You get authority domains out of the process, that over time become very very strong.
5. Inner page linking becomes stronger and stronger as older posts gain more back links and PR.
6. It looks looks better to Google having authority sites being constantly updated instead of hundreds of MFA micro sites with thin content that are rarely updated.

The list goes on and on. People like EMD's cause they are so easy to rank quickly, but from my experience an authority domain in the same parent niche can rank just as well if not better than an EMD.

How much money are your authority sites making? Can you give examples of large niches and what domain name would be right?

Are you building hundreds of MFA sites because you want to target EMD for each site? Otherwise i don't see the point to build lot of adsense sites instead of one big site.

very interesting thread im thinking about starting my own adsense empire too. subscribed and will follow this thread closely as i see alot of valueable tips

What's the best way to optimize the site for CPA? Say I have a wordpress blog with some articles. Do you just place banner ads for the CPA offers on the site? Or do you just write up information about the actual CPA product you're promoting and hyperlink to the offer? Thanks

I'd be very interested in this one, too. I currently only use Adsense, but would very much like to diversify a bit.

Thanks!

So I bought my first mns from a seller here on BHW but had questions.
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on what my first strategies should be?

What's the best theme for good ctr?
How about an adsense plugin? I'm not thrilled with what's on there now
What would you suggest for my first seo efforts?

Any other suggestions would be great.

If you outsource the keyword research (probably the most time consuming part of micro niche websites) and the article writing you will be able to put more time into building backlinks.

How do you do keyword research?
I would like to understand, so I can outsource it.

Micro sites are a very profitable business model depending on what your goals are IE: earning via clicks ( cpm/cpa ) model or Lead generation model.

My earnings model was mostly lead generation, with product purchase as a secondary, and click revenue as third.

my exit model was to sell it to the manufacture or vendor of the niche I was in.

when I was ( still have a few ) in that game, I was able to consistently rank high for the niches, I would spend a great deal of time before I choose a niche of figuring out whom to sell it to.

one niche in which I was dominate with micro sites ( I don't have anything anymore sold it as a portfolio sale ) was ford auto parts for mustangs from 65 to 71, for some reason I was able to dominate it with ease and could get content consistently and get product buyers leads by the ton loads ( You really don't know how many types of hoods mustangs have ( plus the parts related to it ) until you really do the research, and you can get them in fiberglass also. had about 10 vendors just buying those leads at 1.50 each or direct purchases from my sites as affiliate accounts.

one thing that I can tell you is that you need to be amazingly careful with adsense. my rule back then prior to getting really big with a few site was:
a) never have more than 200 sites on a server
b) match all those sites to adsense
c) get permission from google analytic so that you can track all 200 web sites
d) everything under 1 LLP, going to 1 bank account, going to 1 phone number and 1 mail drop.
I never had any problems and I was real happy.

once I had reached a better traffic volume from google, they let me build more sites out to a specific name and never worried.

selling my sites was the easy part, you are making 7K a month, then sell it for 36 times earnings, start at 50 times ... here is the logic, if you are making 1.00 per lead, that lead is really costing them about 1.50 ( that's a 50% cost increase) then if our leads are converting reasonably well, they are making on that 1.50 about 17.00 to 50.00 ( in mustang market ) or maybe even more, but my research told me that I had to work on this factor. so I picked up the phone with all my numbers and the traffic, converting traffic and any notes. easy sale, and if you do it correctly, they will ask you to build out sites for them in niches that they pay you directly for all the leads ( got a few of those, my favorite was for very specific type of big block that could be shoehorned into a mustang, and the leads paid out 8.00 per each one )

Another great hit for me that made me serious money, was a product that paid out $25,000 ( yep, 25 grand USD ) when the lead converted to an investor, and every lead generated on my sales funnel ( seven pages ) was paid out at 5.00 . those guys were nuts, but they could take the lead and convert 4% from my leads while others converted at 1% or less. That company loved me. Sold my site to them for a fortune.

Oh that above mentioned site, is in the immigration niche, so now you don't have to PM me about it. ( I'm long gone out of that niche ), and it requires that you make phone calls to get into it.

as for the income that niches made (make) me, the low end about 10 a day, high end 1800 per day, the bell curve is left heavy with the peak at about 78 per day.

there is more to talk about but that's for another time.

@bulger, what type of links do you use?
- profile?
- bookmark?
- article?
- blog?

2) On average, from just the micro niche websites I make about $80 - $250 per day, depending on the day. As for the avg per click, it changes quite a bit. I would say between .25 and 2.00.

You say you have 500 microniche sites and make 80 - 250 per day.

You should talk to the guy who started that post how excited he was he make 1 autoblog and make 20 dollars a day soon just form ads. YAY!:pirate::eek::(

Apparently my post was too significant and high quality because it triggered a moderation system. Oh well. Nothing spammy about it ( no links, selling or anything, I dont have time to sell anything. I'm too busy building my business). Just one long post based on my experiences owning 100s of sites. I dont know if that just means the post is lost or what.

Maybe I need to go around posting " Nice post, a lot of good info here" in Broken English on 100 threads and then I will be a trusted member. Sorry I've been a long time reader and joined the first time I'm really had something to say.

For me, i used to get ideas from Amazon, and use Micro Niche Finder (paid). But now,
1. i find keywords using uNiches.com (paid)
2. Cross check with GKT (free)
3. Do both allintitle:"keywords" (<=2000) and allintitle:"keywords" (<=2000) in G.com
4. Check in spyfu.com (free), CPC >= $0.50
5. Check in Traffic Travis (free) for top 10 US results - will go for it if there are a few PR 0s and relatively easy to rank.

yes, its a tedious process but i outsource my article writing and link building.

Guys, care to share your keyword research process? very interested to learn from the big earners!!

As for managing the rankings, i use CuteRank Pro (paid) and schedule it to check every day.

Hey what's your link building method with MNS?

To those who have 20+ MFA sites,

Are all of the .com, .org and .net domains?

Just a question, how do you manage all 500 MNS? Do you have some kind of software to manage everything? How often do you post?

A lot of them I do nothing with. I have a little system set up though to keep track of all of them, what hosting they are on, what sites they are linking to, general stuff like that.

I also put them into magic submitter, or a lot of them. I find this makes it easier to post on them.

If you set up a system, like for example

1) Keyword Research - Cause it is the most important part. Record Keywords and Other information in a spread sheet.
2) Domain Research - Record when and where you got it and what hosting you are going to use in an excel spread sheet.
3) Build the website - I use wordpress mostly.
4) Start by building some backlinks or outsource. Keep track of the links

Pretty simple and to the point system right there. I also have a fiance that does this full time and loves what she is doing.

Yes, I totally agree with your strategies which I used also, when one of my mfa ranked #1-#3, I'll investigate the keywords again and find some related keywords and build inner page for that, all content are unique and visitors love them. And the result is great for the inner page.

The only question is, I have 120 mfas which earn $300-$450 per day, why you have 500 websites and only earn $80-$250? Do you only use adsense and not other ads?

I was trying to give my realistic income just from my micro niche website, and only stating what I make with adsense. I would say that 50% of my websites have amazon on them also, and the other 50% either a cpa offer or cj.com offer. Those also bring in more income.

In all honesty, if you can get traffic to your website, then I truly believe you can monetize in some way.

@fvcktheworld

Are all of your sites .com, .org and .net domains? Or you have .info domains?

I prefer .com or .net. I am not going to go into a debate about getting them ranked.

That being said, I do have some .info domains, because that was all that was available for an emd and it was in my beginning stages, so they are all older sites now. Some of them rank well and others not so good.

I really believe that Google has an Algo to decide weather a .info website should rank well in that specific niche or if it is just spam. Not sure though cause they keep denying my application for employment.
