Hi,

I have a website selling video tutorials. Can i sell video tutorials using ebay? The reason i ask is because they are digital downloads, no physical product and i am unsure if this is doable in Ebay.

If it is, whats the best way to go about it? would i send buyers to my website to pay? would i use ebay as a seperate entity to my website?

IF you think this is possible and a good idea can you send me to a link that has the basics of settign up an ebay store for this type of business.

Hello! I am an Ebay Powers Seller and Top Rated Seller by selling everything I personally had, and odds and ends. I have over 500 feedback, but nothing else to sell. I have been looking into drop shipping, but there are so many middlemen and scams. I really do not want to loose out on the status that I have created. I am at the end of my road. Can you give me any advice or help? I have noting left to sell and need some guidance. Thank you in advance for any help!

You can, it looks like there is a market for it, but no one really selling them. Over the last 90 days there have been only 2 auctions (including one listed right now) that have been listed with the words skype credits, accounts, or codes. IDK about selling whole accounts, but you can def sell credits / prepaid codes if you have them.

It all depends on what you're interested in. There are sooo many items to sell, it's hard to give a specific niche without giving away any sources. Everyone here asks for xyz, but the truth is, noone is going to just hand you their source and let someone cut into their profit. Look in the drop shipping section on here, but beware when buying. Majority of stuff there are replicias (which will work if you know how to work them )

It's a bit harder, they don't like this because it leaves open scamming, obviously. Contact seller as it's highly YMMV. most good sellers wont do this because you are only protected under buyer protection if sent to the confirmed address. Try using amazon for something like this.

Electronics are very hard, and i wouldn't consider that a niche, as it's a wide cateogry. Lots of people start selling on ebay by purchasing large lots (say 100) of ipad/iphone/ipod covers very cheap and making minimal profits just to get up to 100 feedback quickly. At this time you'll be eligible for some benefits such as toprated and powerseller if you meet some requirements. It's good to have lots of feedback before selling higher dollar stuff. (also opens you up to discounts)

yes, the first six per year are free. So always better to have maximum exposure.

No. Paypal does not reverse these. Best case is wait 180 days, put new bank account and withdraw. If you want to try calling a few weeks early with a sob story of needing the money early - some have had success. Go stealth and start over

You can 100% sell websites on ebay, 1000s are listed everyday. However, you probably would have more success selling this as a service. Set up a quick e commerce site, and start advertizing. Maybe evne through the buy sell trade forum here as a start.

No SSN or TAX ID require please. Just order (maybe with registration), buy and ship to a choosen address.

The best will require a tax ID (none that i know require SS), it's very easy to get, and you can get an EIN free. Check out the drop shipping forum. Dizz created a master list that is out of this world.

I saw many people on ebay sell Windows 7 Ultimate, and most of them imported from China. But wont ebay banned them?

As with everything in life, it depends. I have had accounts that were permanetly banned within 10 minutes of posting the ad. (new account created that day) to account i've sold 100s of these on. It's a vero item obviously, and on top of that buying it from china means it's fake. Microsoft has cracked down on Windows and Office codes really hard lately. Best to try another product.

There are a few manual ways to do this. Call up ebay and discuss with them. You can also link your account to a more established account if you know someone or have an account of good standing. This will raise your limits.

However, if you have a stealth account I'd recommend niether. 1 will raise flags on your accounts, and they could ban you right there if they feel so inclined, and 2. you're now linking accounts.

This is something best left for automatic increase. overtime as you sell more items, and get positive feedback your limits will be increases. Most people indicate after 90 days of good history with no violations you should see an increase. Best thing to do is go with mutlipe stealth accounts to get around the limits. Your account may have a 10 item limit, but with 10 stealth accounts you now have a 100 item limit and your diversified in terms of risk

No, you can message 10 people a day that you don't have direct contact with, but getting e-mails have become harder and harder these days.

yes, many people use SEO to get people to their ebay items. If you have a highly viewed item, there is no real need for it.

Again, noone will give you their exact item. Best thing is research, research, research. Get terapeak, and just start brain storming items. Anything around your house or you can think of. As you walk through the mall think, read newspaper think, etc. Then check cheap dropshippers like Dhgate, alibaba etc. Then if you can't find what you're looking for or if you're going for more legit items check Diz's list and start sourcing or doing research on the internet. Terapek offers a hotpak option that will tell you high selling items , there sell-through %, etc etc

Again this is an "it all depends" I have reports of people selling 300$ items right off the bat. I think more important then the amount of item is the TYPE of item. Different items are higher risks then others. For instance, selling a $300 piece of software or high hells is MUCH more high risk then selling a $300 book or sporting event ticket. I would say at 3 months and 100 feedback you're free to start posting most items. Just try not to jump too high too fast. I.E. all $1 cases for 3 motnsh at 3 a day, then in one day sell 5 $300 items. Start slow and be smart.

yes, you can buy items from yourself, but after a while ebay will notice all of the unpaid items and become suspious. Just make sure to not get linked or you'll be screwed for shell bidding, and penalized heavy.

If you ship internationally, say USPS priority (which PayPal doesn't offer full seller protection from, depending on which forums/sites you read), and it has the eBay customs/tracking # on it, is it ok to create a separate "package" and send that along w/ something more concrete like registered mail to get a delivery confirmation for PayPal? i.e. send a second package and track that through to full delivery in case someone tries to make a PayPal INR claim?

The 2nd option is by SMS msg...which also cant be used with VoIP (am i wrong again?!?). I think you got my point

Tim, it's almost 4 weeks now since i paid for my order. you owe me 9 accounts, and i haven't gotten anything but excuses. it seems you're having this problem with several users. you've been very helpful with everything up until this point, however this is getting ridiculous.

to increase the $500 limit you need to increase your seller feedback and sales, then contact ebay for them to review your account and increase the limits- it's hit n miss kinda whenever you're dealing with ebay to increase your limits but show them you're a good seller and they'll do.

I have 1 more question for you...when you use voip and ebay asks you for verification, then you receive an auto call which says : "If you were expecting this call press #". Am i correct? If i remember well even if i press the "#" it makes no difference, its like i never press the "#". How you bypass this? Also which voip provider you use?
