anyone here has more than 20 microniche mfas?

awesome thread!

i myself have 40 MNS and i bought cuterank pro to oversee the rankings, adding notes on days any outsourced backlinking efforts get done.

These 40 MNS are pretty new (about 1 month old) and i am only earning on average $3 daily on all the sites despite the fact 19 of them are in page 1 (in 5+ position). These are wordpress sites each with 2 articles (excluding contact/privacy policy).

i have splitted the sites into different backlinking efforts:
30 of them backlinked with profile link wheel
2 of them with article submission
1 with a linkwheel

come september, i will run social bookmarking, and article submission for all of them.

But then I'm still not very satisfied with the earnings and would appreciate any advice on what strategies i should be doing or anything i have done wrong as i am quite new as well.

thanks,
W

Hi, you are doing alright my friend, $3 daily for 1 month old websites is not bad. Imagine in the next few months you may get your sites to earn you more than $40-50 daily with the right SEO and the right choose of keywords.

I can only suggest you one thing that works great for my micro niche sites:

Always do bookmarketing first before any other seo work.

Hope that helps

Have a great day

Hi Bulger,

Thanks for the advices! Maybe its lame, but i just thought by ranking in search engines follwed by the bookmarking will make it seems natural... as in people bookmarking it after the pages get visited.

In your opinion, when would you start the bookmarking work? Do you let your sites sit for a few weeks first? How long is that?

Secondly, right choices of keywords.. i'm not sure if i've done it correctly.. are you referring to checking in GKT and look for keywords that closely related to my MNS keywords and ranking them as well?

Thanks,
W

I have way more then 20 Micro Niche type websites, probably around 500, but I would have to count them.

Answers to your questions.
1) Yes a lot of them are in the number 1 position and even more on the first page.
2) On average, from just the micro niche websites I make about $80 - $250 per day, depending on the day. As for the avg per click, it changes quite a bit. I would say between .25 and 2.00.
3) To get all of the websites up, it took me about 3 months. I outsourced some of the work, and also have a small team that I work with. As for getting them to the top in Google, that depends on the backlinking strategy that I followed.

I have about every tool that is available out there for building backlinks, except xrumer (simply because I do not have the time to learn it and I can outsource it for really cheap).

One of my favorite and what I have found to be the quickest way to move a website up the rankings when it is micro niche (or not micro for that matter) is link pushing. Basstrackerboats offers a great service on here, or if you don't have the money to invest you can do some of it yourself.

4) My monthly traffic changes every month. Some of the niches that I have are not as popular as they were when I got the website up. An example would be something that came out a while ago and has lost popularity because something else has came out and replaced the product.

On average each one of my micro niche websites that is on the first page gets between 20 and 150 visits per day.

- One thing with building micro niche websites that you should really think about is that you can build one - 10 page website that can easily rank for a lot of different keyword terms. The easiest way that I think to do this is to build each page as it's very own website when you are optimizing it.

So if you target a micro niche for "King sized sheets" make another page for "Queen sized sheets" and when you build this page, optimize it only for "queen sized sheets". Build backlinks to that page using different anchor text that have to do with queen sized sheets.

I know that is not the best example, but you get what I mean.

Hope that helps to answer some of your questions.

On a closing note - If I were to just be starting this again, I would suggest outsourcing as much as possible. If you outsource the keyword research (probably the most time consuming part of micro niche websites) and the article writing you will be able to put more time into building backlinks. Or outsource the article writing and backlinks and do the keyword research yourself. You will find that it does not take very long at all to put up 20 websites.

Yes, I totally agree with your strategies which I used also, when one of my mfa ranked #1-#3, I'll investigate the keywords again and find some related keywords and build inner page for that, all content are unique and visitors love them. And the result is great for the inner page.

The only question is, I have 120 mfas which earn $300-$450 per day, why you have 500 websites and only earn $80-$250? Do you only use adsense and not other ads?

Build 20 sites out that will make you $10/day each.

and build up from there.

Maan, this makes $9 000/12 000 per month!!! What is your strategy, reveal a little bit more like:
- how many articles per MNS?
- what kind of link building?
- what ads besides adsense?

I'm sure it would be inspirational for all beginners to know :)

Instead of hundreds if not thousands of domains, wordpress installs, enough hosting to spread them all across etc... I just have a few authority sites covering large niches where I post micro niche articles.

This is so much better for many reasons.

1. A million times easier to maintain. Only having to check analytics for a few sites. Only having to do upgrades for a few sites. The list goes on here... Ya there are tools to help manage mass sites, but thats just more money to fork out.
2. Much much cheaper to maintain.
3. You don't have to worry about keeping the content updated across hundreds of sites. You would be posting new articles each week keeping panda happy.
4. You get authority domains out of the process, that over time become very very strong.
5. Inner page linking becomes stronger and stronger as older posts gain more back links and PR.
6. It looks looks better to Google having authority sites being constantly updated instead of hundreds of MFA micro sites with thin content that are rarely updated.

The list goes on and on. People like EMD's cause they are so easy to rank quickly, but from my experience an authority domain in the same parent niche can rank just as well if not better than an EMD.

This is exactly what u should do.

Obviously MNS can do well, many people make them and make fortunes from it.

But if you want to shoot instead for an authority site, there is good money there too. You get all the benefits that beakon mentioned above. My most successful sites have 300+ posts on them.

Then again I haven't focused on the micro niche sites so I can't verify whether they are easier to make cash from or not.

There is a lot of power having a site that is in a general niche, with each of your categories in a more specific niche -- and then installing something like YARPP (yet another related posts plugin) that automatically backlinks to the most related posts on your website.

My most profitable website, when it was younger, was making over $500 a month under the weight of its own internal links (I wasn't backlinking to the site at the time). That was on a site promoting affiliate products with people searching for specific product names.

Hey, I have a question - what would you recomend for keyword research(preferably free tool), targeting right keywords with competition low enough is obviopusly the key here. What do you consider "good keyword" and start building your site for it, and what you consider bad? Rough numbers or any tips on this appreciated.
Thanks

It doesn't make sense to me either. He is saying he has 500 mfa. He has a lot in first page and number 1. But he only earns $80-250.

I have affiliate links, adsense, cpa, and etc on my sites. They do not rank first but in first page. Out of 100 mfa, I say I have 1 in first position. I make more than $1 a day in adsense with each of my adsense sites. I make more with affiliate links.

So something is fishy about his story. I'm NOT saying it isn't true. Just saying, something doesn't add up.

I personally use Micro Niche Finder, which is a great tool but it's paied version as for a free version I don't know any.

I my self consider good keyword a keyword that has got 1000+ - 10000 Local Monthly Searches, low competition in google and at least $1+ CPC

Thanks

IT depends, my strategy is one keyword one article, so some mfa have only 1-2 articles others have 5+.

I use web2.0 and social network backlinks.

Amazon, other cpc advertisers and cpa networks.

You mentioned Amazon, other cpc advertisers, and cpa networks as alternative monetization strategies. Where would you say you had the most success in? How do you specifically integrate them with adsense?

most success? amazon, and shopzilla

For me, i used to get ideas from Amazon, and use Micro Niche Finder (paid). But now,
1. i find keywords using uNiches.com (paid)
2. Cross check with GKT (free)
3. Do both allintitle:"keywords" (<=2000) and allintitle:"keywords" (<=2000) in G.com
4. Check in spyfu.com (free), CPC >= $0.50
5. Check in Traffic Travis (free) for top 10 US results - will go for it if there are a few PR 0s and relatively easy to rank.

yes, its a tedious process but i outsource my article writing and link building.

Guys, care to share your keyword research process? very interested to learn from the big earners!!

As for managing the rankings, i use CuteRank Pro (paid) and schedule it to check every day.

I use the same strategies as outined by alot of others here, however I don't go with adsense...I optimize for cpa...much better payoff for your work and you don't need 200 sites.

What's the best way to optimize the site for CPA? Say I have a wordpress blog with some articles. Do you just place banner ads for the CPA offers on the site? Or do you just write up information about the actual CPA product you're promoting and hyperlink to the offer? Thanks

very interesting thread im thinking about starting my own adsense empire too. subscribed and will follow this thread closely as i see alot of valueable tips
