I purchase earlyer today the rankbox plug
as im developer too it make me angry that pepole using others code
Due to this problem im asking you to refound me cause im stop using this plug

For one minute let me ignore my video that you have copied my 5 files NONE of them are GPL, AS IT IS,

Answer me how come you got my Decapthcer affiliate link in your file?

This is a nonsense....you have clearly copied carsonrathi's plugin...I bought rankbox and now want a refund, all buyers should be given the choice of a refund or staying with rankbox...regardless of whether they bought a lifetime licence or not!!

This kind of scam can not be tolerated and is highly deceitful and dishonest.
 
agreed. i pmed for a refund as i would prefer to support the original creator of the plugin.

Don't try to hide behind the GPL, you forfeit your rights under that license by including features that allow the bypassing of security features on other sites. Decaptcha is a dmca violation. I'm not saying that's just or fair; just the facts. You can't position yourself behind the shield of licenses and law while violating them yourself.

You will be held accountable for your slack attitude in dealing with this situation, so it's in your best interest to respond in this thread and work out the refunds for the people that want that.

He don't have any option, he has clearly copied my files (not just parts) and he DO NOT have any right to sell it.

He need to refund all buyers and kill this entire plugin as you have stolen the 'sole' of my plugin, which is the core coding.

Looking for moderators take on this (i have yet to get his reply on my affiliate code in his files)

We mods are dealing with this issue considering as stealing the code from fellow member and not as legal rights point of view as far as you don't have copyrights or patents for this plugin.
 
please put his stolen code up on TV or another tracker, that should fix all of this ;)

Feel free to read the GPL...but the long story short is that any plugin  that requires WordPress functionality..hooks...etc...falls under GPL
I don't have time to read the entire GPL rules.Can anybody confirm this? does that mean i can copy the code of an existing plugin which requires wordpress functionality, and rename and sell as my own plugin? I think GPL rules are formed so that coders can access the source code and make it a better program.This is how firefox and VLC player is updated.

That is not the way to respond .You have done nothing to prove that you have hired a programmer to code this plugin.All evidence suggests that you copied someone's hardwork without giving due credit.

The reason I said this this may be a MORAL issue is very important.

If you have copied carsonrathi's code and used basically the same
interface, then you have stolen his work. Forget the GPL license
technicality. You have MORALLY ripped him off and need to make
restitution to those who put their good faith in ME as the reviewer
and YOU as the seller.

Man I'm feeling for you carsonrathi. I've had this happen to me also and it's much more than someone just stealing from you. This plugin is excellent and you would've put a ton of time into it, and for someone to swoop in, sell it as their own and be so arrogant when you approach him. I feel for you dude, stay up man!

If extremeseo won't freely give the refunds then we all need to file a paypal dispute, when paypal see the amount of claims against him we should get our money back.

@ Carsonrathi - have you got any files that I could send to paypal to strengthen my claim?
