Exact Match Domains

Hi, I know this has been discussed in the past however I just wanted to get an up to date answer about Exact Match Domains (EMD) and if the EMD for your keyword phrase isn't available what should you pick next for the best SEO results?

So if:

yourkeywordphrase.c0m
yourkeywordphrase.n3t
yourkeywordphrase.0rg

isn't available should you...

1) Go with another EMD extension so you keep 100% keyword density, like; .info or .biz
2) Add a letter at the end like S, A or X etc etc
3) Add a letter at the start like S, A or X etc etc
4) Add a word after e.g. yourkeywordphrase now/blog/site/today etc etc
5) Add a word before e.g. my/the/best yourkeywordphrase etc etc
6) Add 1 hyphen after the 1st word e.g. your-keywordphrase
7) Add 1 hyphen after the second word e..g. yourkeyword-phrase
8) Add a hyphen after each word e.g. your-keyword-phrase
9) Any other domain

Thanks I was swaying more towards 2 myself as I wasn't sure about hyphens. Regarding hyphens I personally find those urls more annoying to remember/type

To be honest a year back there was a popular movie coming out and all the "watchmoviename" domains were taken so I registered a domain which started with "i" so "iwatchmoviename.com" and I ranked on TOP 3 of Google

So go for letters such as "i" or "e"

I usually just ad a hyphen... haven't tried any of the other. This should suffice since I dont think it will make such a big difference

In my case the "i" fitted quite nice because it formed "I watch Spiderman" (example) but of course just because you have the domain name, it doesn't mean that you will rank.

Backlinks is the most important factor and as long as you are blasting your site it wont really matter if the letter is in front or its a hyphen in the middle
