The link extractor was modified more than a month ago for the last time.
If it now start crashing, it should be a problem on your side, maybe AV updated or such.

How many keywords can you scrape with one IP? I have a ton of keywords

It depends on the engine and the time. If you use the single threaded harvester and set a delay you can get quite far. But if you use proxies and keep your max connections to 20% of your proxies you can scrape all day. I only use private proxies for scraping, I never use public proxies for anything. I never get my private proxy IPs banned. Its all about flying under the radar.

If you have 100 private proxies set your connections to 20 total, not 20 per instance, 20 total connections per engine. (20%) adjust to wahtever 20% of your proxies are and you can pretty much scrape non stop and PR check non stop.

hello guys, I haven't use scrapebox for quite sometime. today,as i have some links to index i open it and to my surprise. it ask me to validate my license again! does anyone of you here experience the same thing? thanks

I am able to change ip but google blocks after i checked 3.5k url. so i am changing ip but since there is no such feature i am having hard time.

Which means scrapebox is awesome and doesn't force an increase in commenting time, but gives you the control to set the connections and timeouts and not bomb the same url too many times. You can remove duplicate urls you know.

That feature is already in place. If you stop it, and then start it again without changing anything, it will just pick up where it left off.

They are still doing transfers in 12 hours or less. If it wasn't transferred then you either submitted the wrong info, or you used up your free transfer for the month and you need to pay. Double check your info and if thats not right Contact support and find out which.

I'm still getting a 404 error with Yahoo. Any ideas?

It's instantaneous most times but sometimes I'll get a brief result (maybe 100 results) and then it 404s. Still no firewall, no changes since I've been using it for over the past year. Just doesn't work.

The yahoo harvester is scraping the front end of yahoo. So yahoo bans IPs. The API would let me scrape 180 million urls with 1 IP. But since thats gone, plan on ip ban rules being like google.

I had a hard drive crash and they wont validate the transfer of my liocense its been a couple weeks now. I had been using scrapebox since January from the same pc, i dont see what the big deal is?

If you used up your free transfer then you need to pay the $10 fee. No big deal just contact support and find out.

I have a list of 17k domain I am trying to run link extractor on.

I have it broken down into chunks of 1000 and freakin link extractor keeps freezing on me.. anyone else having trouble?

You probably have bad data in your list. Try running it thru the malware checker or sorting thru the list about where it stops. Also make sure you security software isn't killing it.

Its likely bad data, your system, or your security software. Its fine for me and I use it hard core on multiple machines. Maybe your just trying to use a cracked OS or cracked Anti-virus.

All you need to do is set the "Results" to "1" so that SB scrapes only first result from Google.

BUT, SB will automatically change that to 10. So you MUST scrape the first 10 results.

and I used the keyword scraper tool in sb, then i harvested wordpress blogs,
so practially 90% of all my links are remove,d

You have the "Automatically Remove Duplicate Domains after harvesting" in the Options tab activated!

is there a way i can limit it only to one ? also have the keywords mapped to the URL when I export it ?

Even though the change the results to 1 or2 it always defualts back to 10 . Avy work around ?
