Interesting Pagerank rollback today...

I had a couple of sites bounce from pr4 before the last update to pr0 back to pr3 with yesterday's change. Other sites didn't budge.

I remember someone said Twitter went to PR0 and i almost laughed.

Glad they sorted they stuff out !

Mine also reverted back to "normal" PR -- not a bad thing in most cases

I had roughly 100 sites and this update was mixed... Some were back to last position, some gained and some lost... It doesn't seem like roll back although complete new update, may be they have updated their algorithm...

I think this update is because of the mistakes they did in Ranking Huge websites like twitter.com

I can see twitter is back to PR9 but I one of my twitter profiles dropped from PR6 to PR0. And one of my facebook pages dropped from PR4 to PR3.

I own several hundred websites with PR and just noticed that sometime today there was a "rollback" on PageRank.

My sites that lost a PR point or two have gained back their original PR. While sites that had a PR 0 before the last update have retained their pagerank and didn't revert back.

I had a few sites that were PR4's drop to PR2's and now are back up at PR4's again today.

Anyone else notice this?

Same here, had a site with PR3, then it dropped to PR1, and today is back again to PR3.

Use a real tool like SEOQuake which pulls its data directly from Google.

I bet it was an algo change as stated somewhere above. The thing is, that some of my crappy sites still have the PR4 they got in the last update some weeks ago. And some better sites that went from PR1 to PR3 a few weeks ago are back to PR1.

PR is not as simple as you'd think...

yes i see several updates lately most of them for the good got 1 pr point added on some of my sites

I noticed the same thing, most of the BMR sites have poor backlink profiles and they don't do much to continue backlinking the sites in their network
