I own several hundred websites with PR and just noticed that sometime today there was a "rollback" on PageRank.

My sites that lost a PR point or two have gained back their original PR. While sites that had a PR 0 before the last update have retained their pagerank and didn't revert back.

I had a few sites that were PR4's drop to PR2's and now are back up at PR4's again today.

Anyone else notice this?

Very interesting, thanks for the heads up, one of my sites has just gone from pr6 to pr3 and another has gone from pr4 to pr3.

Yep, 4 of my sites that had increased are back to where they were.

Ya- now that I'm looking even deeper it looks like it wasn't a rollout but a total update again. My guess is they tweaked the PageRank algo a little bit?

They did it to restore Google.com to PR10.

They did huge mistake in last Page Rank, and what they did is they updated only previously affected websites.

I didn't noticed any non-affected website to be included in changes.

That's the thing, I thought that at first as well.

Although I can CONFIRM that non-affected sites were included in this recent update.

I think it was a total update again, since I have new PR figures than I did before this udpate, and the legacy figures.

yup, i went from 4 - 0, today i'm again 4 with one site... now that's some good news :)

I had a few sites go up with the last update and they kept their new PR.

I can also confirm that the rollback/new update is not for all sites, at least for my case. Some of my inner urls maintained the last month's updated PR even they have no content i.e. contact, about pages.

Whats strange is I'm having sites that are blatant crap that just went up in PR. I'm talking about sites that really have crap content and didn't do much. They didn't get PR on the update a week or two ago but got PR now.

While not all sites changed it was not a roll back. I had a few sites go back to where they were but some received brand new PR changes that were nothing like they were before the change last month. Looks like I had about 35 sites in total affected by this one and not all of them were the same ones as affected a few weeks ago.

I had just noticed this on one of my sites, It had dropped, Now its back to where it was, Havent checked anymore of my sites yet,

strange. One page of mine went from n/a to 0 on the June 27th update. Today it went from 0 to PR 1

I confirm !

My personal website was PR3, since PR update few weeks ago it was down to PR2.
And today, back to PR3.

last week i saw on competitors homepage pr5, duplicate content on innerpage pr 5.
the next day innerpage was pr 4. today innerpage is back to pr 5 (with duplicate content!).
3 of my sites went from pr 3 to pr 2. seems G is adjusting once again pr update.

I'm wondering why Google decided to do this? Very uncharacteristic of PageRank update patterns by Google.

My sites went back to the normal PR they were before the June Update.
In June they went from PR 2 -> PR1, now they are back to PR2!
