tbenny I can appreciate your situation, and even empathize. I'm the sole supporter of my mother who is 100% disabled. She was denied both her long term disability insurance which she paid for for 20 years of a working career AND for disability from social security because she was only 55 when she became disabled. I've been fighting for more than 5 years to fix this situation and paying her bills the whole time. On top of my own health problems.

Concern and generosity are wonderful things, but no one, here or elsewhere OWES you anything. While I feel for you, I'm beginning to suspect that a large part of your problem is attitude. As long as you believe that you can "snap" and "come and take" what you aren't owed, you have a more serious problem than Addison's disease.

edit: and just to be clear, I think healthcare should be provided free, without question to everyone. It never should have been a for-profit enterprise because by nature, the competition for, and need for "profit" is ruinous to real research and growth in hundreds of fields.

We should spend a lot less on bombs and guns and a lot more on research. But that's not the world we live in and gnashing your teeth and screaming about how things "should" be is time wasted that could be spent doing more to fix things in the systems that IS.

I offer services for the help I receive, and I agree that it is best to work for the money, but you miss my point. Well, the split is right there at the end of the cord, right on the edge of the plug, so I can't get any extra wire to have enough to splice it together. I did attempt to hack and slash it after it stopped working completely (about 4 or 5 hours ago) but no luck.

Anyway, unlimitedpostings helped me tremendously and I can't say enough about his kindness! I've ordered a new one from ebay and just have to wait for it to be delivered.

PS. Whackhat, sorry I flipped out on ya. I overreacted a bit, but to be fair you really did piss me off. In any case, you didn't really say anything I don't agree with. That's why I felt like shit for having to ask for help. : But luckily there are people who have empathy for those in need!

Anyway, I can't get any work done lately because of this:

That's a pic of my laptop's power cord. It has to be in precisely that position to work. Apparently, either my recliner closed on it when I had it unplugged (btw, I LOVE blackhatting from my recliner ), or something else clipped it right where you see the bend.

In addition, my battery is fuxed and holds like a 2% charge, so if I can't get the plug in exactly the right position (and don't have to get up), the laptop shuts down within a few minutes.

Now ordinarily, I wouldn't have the nerve to ask for a loan from you guys, especially since I'm relatively new. I won't be offended in the least if no one helps me out. I'd be leery too..

So I'm planning to get a new adapter on ebay but I don't have the funds to cover it, and I can't get any work done without it (not to mention I'm an internet junkie, so I gotta have my fix ). If anyone has $20 to spare, I'll pay you back in like a week. (I sound like a crackhead beggin for some cash for rock )

So, there's that. I suppose the JV forum is the best place to post this, as it's a sort of join venture I guess.

Here, i will hand you a measly $100 a month from ad*sense. Make a webpage. If you can't, just google for WYSIWYG html editor... One page. Put something people want on it. Make a video pointing to that thing you want. Put the link in the description. Fall short on your promise, reap clicks... And I did this with a keyword group that payed like $0.03 to $0.08 a click on average.

Now, I only uploaded that shit to one video site, use tubemogul and get more exposure.

Use the 'equity' of your money being visually-shown increasing to people around you and get a 20 dollar loan - from a real person that you know and can physically let them see you log into your auto money making account.

It cannot be easier. Do this 50 times and come back and You give a loan. If you are going to choose to 'make money online', then asking for $20 should never come out of your mouth. In any case of online beggary I suggest you put value into what your investors will be investing in, beyond that of a pat on a back and thanks in advance.

Now, making bigger money than that, that is up to you. I'm still trying to break through. First month I made ten cent, then 10 dollars, then I made 100 monthly for 3 months and now I can foresee my first 300 dollar month come the end of november, but not confidently enough to count chickens. Why don't you fix the cord? Sounds like it's just a broken wire inside of the insulation. I've found a link for you to take a look at on how you might fix it. If you don't have a soldering iron like they show in the illustration, you can probably get by with some black electical tape. The potential cost to fix your cord is way less than $20.
