Beggar looking for a loan. :(

Ok, I wasn't sure where to post this, and I'm actually ashamed to post it..but..

I'm not trying to play the empathy card, but I would like to ask some kind soul for a $20 loan.

Anyway, I can't get any work done lately because of this:



That's a pic of my laptop's power cord. It has to be in precisely that position to work. Apparently, either my recliner closed on it when I had it unplugged (btw, I LOVE blackhatting from my recliner ), or something else clipped it right where you see the bend.

In addition, my battery is fuxed and holds like a 2% charge, so if I can't get the plug in exactly the right position (and don't have to get up), the laptop shuts down within a few minutes.

Now ordinarily, I wouldn't have the nerve to ask for a loan from you guys, especially since I'm relatively new. I won't be offended in the least if no one helps me out. I'd be leery too..

So I'm planning to get a new adapter on ebay but I don't have the funds to cover it, and I can't get any work done without it (not to mention I'm an internet junkie, so I gotta have my fix ). If anyone has $20 to spare, I'll pay you back in like a week. (I sound like a crackhead beggin for some cash for rock )

So, there's that. I suppose the JV forum is the best place to post this, as it's a sort of join venture I guess.

If you don't mind helping, just send me a PM. I have Paypal. And remember guys, I hate to post this here but I'm desperate and I'll understand if no one says yes!

Actually, I tried that before.. Signed up for a few offers, didn't go green because I didn't get credited for one, and then had a hell of a time canceling the "free trials" and got charged ungodly amounts of money. :|

Kinda got away from it after that.

*sigh* Oh well, maybe i can find a way to keep it in that position until next week

Maybe you could try offering a service instead of just asking for a handout? You would probably have a better chance going out into traffic with a bucket and asking for money than you would from some random person on the internet to send you cash

Is it the time of year again, people begging for money and loans and ways to make $1000 in 2 hours because they need to pay rent or their loanshark? there should be a ban on that kind of crap, seriously there should.

Let me put it to you this way: Either thoughtless individuals like you are going to start caring and sharing, or desperate angry people like Father and me are going to come for people like you, and make you share. Your choice, and personally option two sounds like more fun. Because we have had it. We are tired of crumbs, and worrying about our health and our wives' health and trying to do better for ourselves and having people like you complain we should try harder. The day we snap, you better run. All over the country, people like you better run. And drop some money to slow us down, some of the money that was made off of our broken backs, our blistered feet while people like you enjoyed golf.

i would give....seriously, he sounds ok. I wouldn't mind $20+/-, but i just emptied out my PP account for advertising/banner campaigns. Hope you get that *** fixed.

I just can't understand why people ho are in a tight spot can't seem to come up with a plan to get a lousy $20-

I have been in tights spots for most of my adult life and i never begged people for money, sure i soled expensive stuff for cheap to eat, i have done jobs for indian pay or less, but i never went down to the level of begging and never will i, and neither should members here on the board. imho.

Thought you were an American, and the message was metaphorical. I do not want to hurt anybody, but yes, people like me are sick of cold people. The threat is that if enough of us get fed up, we are going to have to take it out on someone. Sorry if you thought I was being literal, but think about how much pain people suffer, and then reassess your view. A warm heart will net much mercy.

i agree with dave on this. there is no need to beg on this forum. 20usd can be made in like 5-10 mins ewhoring. surely that answers and solves ur probs.. this happend before on a forum im a mod on.. some guy wanted a small loan. a fellow member fell for it hook line and sinker. and belive it or not. this guy was doing the same thing on many many forums. asking for loan. now im not saying the OP is one of them but to post here begging is a no no.
