Anyone making bank with Amazon products?

Amazon reports are always a day late...
so today... you can see how you did yesterday..

they are NO WHERE near real time.....

I have my 4th of july stats already..... so you should have yours too..

I;m with amazon too, 2 sites currently and I am interested in how you make it...

Do you make reviews or direct ppc linkling to amazon ?

I have a couple of sites within the $100 - $400 priced items, but I started these over two years ago and have not done anything since, like many I got caught up in another "shiny object" and did not continue to work them, but I do still make around $200 a month, which is great for not doing anything.

IMO, the adsense actually hurt my sales, I agree to get them through to amazon as fast as possible, no extra distractions.

I think (don't take my work for it) but if you find the thread for the WSO from Jan R00s is good for all the general info.

Rory fan makes a good point here... if you have something that works and it is duplicatable (is that even a word?) it makes sense to spend some time and rinse and repeat.

My lord man! a couple of sites making $200 a month and you quit? The WHOLE idea behind amazon is scale. Scale it up! Built 100 sites, 200 sites! Devote a year of your life to building sites like that and you'll be a millionare.....yet you sit here and ponder why you ever did it? Wake up my friend and smell the coffee!! It's waiting for you....on a yacht, with a dozen models, and it's going to your own private island! Run!

I found the WSO-Amazon Treasure Chest to be quite informative especially if you are new to Amazon like I am, it's available in the bhw download. She goes into good details on types of products and what to look for in terms of reviews etc. I used the wp review theme to set up a brand new review site and was excited to give it a go but unfortunately I reside in CA and received the notice from Amazon just 4 days after my site was built.

Adsense hurts amazon sales drastically in my experience....

my amazon sites have nothing but amazon....
i do not want the visitor to fuk around and click adsense and leave my site..
i want to push them to the amazon site asap...

PM you??... there is no need...

its simple...

just have the BRAND NAME in the domain....

to name them... use google keyword tool...
for example if you want to use IPHONE...

check what other keywords come up when people search iphone..
lets say "about the iphone" gets a shit load of searches...

then name your domain ABOUTTHEIPHONE.COM
if its taken... use a year 2020abouttheiphone.com

its simple...

but you can use regular brands....
like for example...
dewault drills or milwakee drills etc..

these brand work too...
people always want to use iphone and ipad...
well....
apple will stick their dik down your throat...
and amazon will fuk u in the azz when you use glamorous brands like that....
because the traffic you generate is enormous...
that you stand out like a sore thumb... and you get caught.
100s of people get busted monthly because they are idiots and use iphone or ipad....

and even with that warning.... I can bet someone on this forum will use those keywords.... and get busted...


IPAD and IPHONE are too flashy... too guarded....

but no one checks for black and decker or some mundane brand name like that... but people do buy that....


using normal everyday brands keeps you under the radar...

Yes... i agree... everyone should be doing amazon..
its one of those things that you start and it grows slowly but firmly...
and before you know it... its making you money...

I make more money with some other stuff that i do..
but amazon is consistent.... day in... day out....

the only fluctuating is during holidays.... like 4th of july.. it goes down..
but they say during christmas it blows up... i hope so..

I have used Reviewazon, wpAzon, shopperpress, amaniche and have 30 different websites..

NOTHING worked.. made about $4/day at my peak with all 30 websites. Added adsense and it got up to $6/day

dont know anyone (people, not companies) using review sites referring traffic to amazon making any decent money imo ...

As an investor I know about this topic.

As all of us Americans know, California is bankrupt and wants to implement 7% sales tax on internet retail sites. They also know that some of the biggest affiliates for Amazon are in California. This defeats the whole purpose since affiliates start at 4%.

So I know it was planned that Amazon would not provide the affiliate program in CA. Also the same type of greedy politicians did this in NY and a few other states are trying to pursue doing the same as well.

Amazon pays tax in new york but they didn't fire their affiliates. I think they were too late so even if they fire the affiliates, they will still pay taxes.
