Ask me ANYTHING about eBay!

@howardmarks - I've been doing this for 6 years now. eBay has been a significant portion of my income; in those 6 years, I've never had to get a job.

@coldfire - If you're selling a collectible, the demand for the certain item would be relatively unpredictable; I would recommend an auction with a reserve price or buy-it-now if you're knowledgeable about how much it is worth.

The reason why you put a reserve is so that you don't sell it for too little. I normally wouldn't recommend putting reserve prices, but for collectibles, there's an exception.

Been a Seller on Ebay in Germany for almost 10 years. Fulltime Job. Almost only selling Jewelery, Body Jewelery.
Not making enough money anymore. Ebay Fees are too high for lower priced Items.

Actually I really hate Ebay, but I have to make money. So still doing Ebay but learning about SEO, so hopefully I will make enough with Websites in the near future.

Anyway if I knew a Product that sells with a good Profit I would still sell on Ebay, but I don't know what. Got an idea?

I'm not going to sell Fake Soccer Shirts or something like that though.

Thanks for the response Infinityai. Appreciate it.
Are u getting out of the business or is there a reason for disclosure of your secrets(namely your impending website)
In your 6 years have things got better or worse?

@bill55252 - PM sent; I just have 1 or 2 accounts with feedback left. The rest are fresh.

@habenerolex - I specialize in non-Vero branded goods. They have healthy margins, and go under the radar.

@howardmarks - I'm not getting out of the biz, just expanding it. I'll have a site up soon just to teach people how to make money on eBay; it'll be a turnkey system and best of all, it'll be absolutely free (no opt-in or anything). Things have just been getting better.

can you give me a hint what exactly your'e selling?

Branded goods that aren't VeRO so there aren't issues with the listings. For more information or more specific questions, you can just contact me directly on AIM: myecommerceguru

what are the grounds to becoming a powerseller? do you have to have a certain amount of monthly sales? if i buy cheap items on ebay that way sellers can leave me + feedback would that help me in anyway? i have an ebay store, i need to increaese sales, as for the moment i havent gotten any this week.

To be a powerseller, you have to clear a certain volume and have certain DSR (detailed seller ratings).

I took the following from the eBay site:
PowerSeller Requirements

The minimum requirements to become and maintain PowerSeller status are as follows:
90 days on site
Account is in good standing (not past due)
Feedback and detailed seller ratings (DSRs) requirements (details below)
Sales volume requirements - minimum and by PowerSeller tier (details below)
eBay Policy compliance (details below)
Feedback and detail seller ratings (DSRs) requirements:
98% positive feedback over the past twelve months
Minimum average detailed seller ratings (DSRs) of 4.60 or higher for all four DSRs - item as described, communication, shipping time, and shipping and handling charges.
For sellers that sell exclusively in Motors Vehicles categories, DSR requirement applies to item description and communication DSRs only
For sellers that sell exclusively in Half.com the shipping and handling charge DSRs does not apply
Rates of 1s and 2s* on DSR with US buyers not to exceed the following rates and counts:
Items as described: 1% and a count of 3
Communication: 2% and a count of 3
Ship time: 2% and a count of 3
Shipping & handling charges: 2% and a count of 3

Cheap items will help improve your DSR and improve your chances of becoming a powerseller.

i just want to find something to sell with higher profit margin as the products i am selling don't have high profit

I only have my Items listed on Ebay Germany, but they also show on international Sites. I always preferred to sell small Items, so shipping is easy.
(It's easier to put a Piercing into a Bubble Envelope than shipping a TV Set.)

I've once had a Sale (wooden Ear Plug) from a Buyer somewhere in a small Town in Australia.
More than 99% of my Sales go to german Buyers though.

What happens if a Canadian verified stealth e Bay/ P aypal account goes -$2000?

I applied for affiliate but why not they approve me, im not understand, could you help me.

@gonowbb - That quote you made wasn't from me, but I sell worldwide. Free shipping for most of the world.

@Shah_G - If your stealth PayPal account goes -$2000, you run. Run fast.

@abiralo - If you can't get into the EPN program because you're in a country they don't approve of they simply don't like you, you can always try buying a premade EPN account or JV'ing with someone that does.

yes, u are right.

i mainly sell replicas car accessories of small site. my dropshipper in china just put them into a envelope and send them out, really fast and easy

as u mentioned before, u don't want to sell replicas. but the fact is selling replicas is the fastest way to boost sale!

@Shah_G - I was just kidding, you don't actually need to run. You can speedwalk, all depends on personal preference.

@Gonowbb - Good idea, though not all branded goods from China are replica.
