I doubt people will put out $70, to buy Crossover, just so they can see what your EXE does.

Probably better using a PDF, especially as most computer users are slowly being conditioned not to trust EXE downloads if they aren't coming from a very trusted (ie big corporation) source. So that may also take away from your potential purchaser base ...

How long have you been running this campaing?

ooo brother...think a lil' further...they have a trial program...so they download that and try it and once my program works I don't bother about any other shit... :D

on a side note, you keep selling those pdf's and i'll stick to my way...honestly think creative! have some "mcafee" and "norton" images on the landing page...that will get you through it...and you may choose a different way such as maybe not advertise it as ".exe" in the first place...maybe just a zipped file...then maybe include a readme.txt and then an exe in that zip file...and as for the instructions I go about including them in the readme as well...

there are multiple ways...and direct selling is one of them and it still works...and gaming is a huge industry...another case study coming today about games...

I've had this campaign for more than month or so...the peak was more than 6k but as the time progressed it pushed itself down to 1k and then 500's...

it still works but not that much...with a twist, try a different demographic...:)

I suppose this mentality won't take you very far and the last time I've seen something advance any further in its life with that mentality was when a chainsaw mated with a chisel and had horrendous sex and faced an inevitable death! :p
 
I have some ideas...the adobe air app might work, but I think bornformoney has the right idea here.

yes you are right bro...adobe air does work but the reason I didn't use that I wasn't quiet sure about opt-in form:D
 
I fail to see the BlackHat Implemented here.... i mean, yeah you are a FB ads killer, and you make 6K/week selling books about Osama's death. But Black Hat? i don't know if you use it, but it seems to me that (with this method) you are a book seller, a very successful one, like stephen king or something like that.

i've seem your other methods and yeah, that ones include BH and are relevant to this forum. But anyway... congrats, regardless you didn't taught me anything in this post, in others yeah, a lot.. but not in this.
