does a bit.ly a safe way to hide the referrer

I don't think it actually hides the referrer does it? It just shortens the link so no one can tell it's an affiliate link.

the problem with the site you mentioned is that it is filtred by email spam filters

but I think if someone click on a bit.ly link the refferer will be bit.ly is it?

I think it doesn't it only changes the refferrer to bit.ly but the cpa companies see where your traffic is coming from,you should use

if you add "+" at the end of a bit.ly url you will see the sources of traffic, country's etc
if you bring traffic from youtube for example...there you will see youtube as main referrer

Where can I find this settings? I just found settings for twitter, tracking domain and so on ?
