[SB Case Study] Starting with nothing, taking it to the top

This is great stuff. I like that you test things and don't just go with the flow. Looking forward to hear about your experiences. I had a niche site sandboxed after it was hit with a xsumer blast of 40.000 links. But in general is it hard to get sandboxed - this was my fist time.

Btw - is SB a fixed price or is it a monthly fee that you pay for the software?

One time...

My opinion:
The best way to improve rankings in this particular case is big blasts followed by high PR backlink campaign.
No I don't think you will get in the 'sandbox'. I personally don't believe that one can get his website 'sandboxed' by backlinking alone.

Wow this, thread grew faster than I would've thought. Can't keep up with the PMs :p 60 sec wait period between them.

Thanks for your answer, i'll try it out today and the next days and report if it worked for me :D

Another question:

How do you avoid to post your url more than once to the same sites when u do such a big blast every day? Or it doesn't matter?

Yes, I would avoid it. The change that you get reported at Google is big if you do big blasts on the same domains every day.

Thx, but how can i avoid it?

I could merge one list from yesterday and the second from today and remove duplicate Domains. But one domain would still be in there....

Load todays list in the harvest box > import urls > Select url lists to compare > yesterdays list
That will remove all urls from yesterday from todays list.

Handy tip mate, just read the whole thread, keep blasting!

Update:
Stopped commenting and started RSS submitting. Result: backlinks go up, indexed pages go up as well.
Right now I am at pos. 15 but I'll start the next 150k blast tomorrow (just 300k to go!)
Oh btw, another great thing, I started ranking for the main keyword in the niche. If I can get top positions for that keyword... Pfeww..

I used 300k of that 1 mil list you showed us. I got less than 100 links when i checked and squidproxies sent me a spam notice lol!

I'm having good success rates with the new settings though. I started scraping my own blogs. Blog engine blogs seem to have high success rates.

About how many successful links do you think you have posted?

If you got 100 live links you must have had about 20k successful posts no? That is a low success rate out of 300k buddy. Must have been squidproxies ;)

So far about 200k-250k successful I think. And about 1/50 to 1/70 live links.

Hi Maruk,

Thanks bud. Also thanks for letting me test drive your service. Great stuff!

Excellent progress Mark! Expecting to see ya at first page soon :)

One question: I haven't used SB for long now but I'm back to it for a small project but having troubles. I remember the good days when it could blast to 500k URLs in one go w/o hanging but now I'm having troubles with even 50k :o I'm on XSserver 1G RAM, 2.4 Processor not sure whats wrong. I tried tweaking my scrapebox.ini file but the problem exists.
Your thoughts on it??? :)

Keep rockin' buddy!
