[SB Case Study] Starting with nothing, taking it to the top

It would, but if I get stuck after 4 weeks on whatever position, I am doing the blast. In the end it is about the money no? ;)

Well, then, personally, I might lose the interest in this experiment. i really wanted to see what happens next..

NP. Your take..

Mate i wish you all the best however i feel it will need much more than just using scrape box.. you will probably get sanboxed if you dont vary up the link sources and/anchore text and keep the backlinking consistant..

hope this help.. keep going mate

Well that is the casestudy isn't it?
I personally don't believe that a site gets 'sandboxed' based on its backlinks.

Big Update:
Bada bing bada boom, just came in at #15 from #27:

Just a couple more days, one week maybe before I should take the top spots.
I hope that SB backlinks are good enough otherwise I will do an AMR campaign from Fiverr. That alone usually gives me a little jump up the serps but I will then also build massive backlinks to those articles.

Another thing that I still need to do is blast links to all my inner pages.

We'll see what happens!

On a side note:
I noticed something disturbing.
Traffic Travis says that I don't have the keyword in my title etc. IE I get all red crosses. That is not accurate, in fact, I should have all those items green.

I have noticed this too and it wasn't until I made the title JUST my keyword that it gave it the green check. To me that begs the question does the keyword have to exactly match the keyword or if you add 'Information' or something else to the title, are you removing potential SEO weight?

I don't believe that it is negative SEO value. Although it might be because the keyword is not in FRONT of whatever text you have there.
Brb. Testing.
[EDIT]
Nope that's not it. I guess you're right. Stupid Traffic Travis.

Another random question, when you do these blasts in general (and anyone can answer), are they on auto approve urls?

What's the footprint used to get the newest posts (last 24 hours) that you mention in first post?

And last random question since you used scrapebox so much, why is it that private proxies have higher success rates then public ones? Is it cause of the speed of the proxies or that the proxy is on some banlist somewhere? I just did a blast with 34k URLs and only got 4-5k success which is under 15% success rate. Out of that, I only got like 60 AA URLs. I will continue working cause I'm trying to make my own AA list :D

1) No they are not AA and a couple posts (or pages) back I explained my formula for the expected success rate.
2) No footprint, there is little button 'TIME' in the proxy section.

Sorry should have been more specific - your privates ones. Is a proxy a proxy or are there services that are better than others?
No a proxy is not a proxy. Most proxy services wont allow SB usage due to the spamming nature and high load on the pipes.
I don't feel comfortable naming my provider because I am sort of allowed off the record to use their proxies with SB.

Take in consideration the latency, stability, price, uptime and all that when picking a provider. Sometimes you need to go through a couple before you find a reliable provider.

All this being said, I mentioned a couple posts back that I was test driving a 'new' proxy provider and I even included the link to his thread, in which I left a review.

So you're gaining rankings exclusively through scrapebox blog comments? are comments nofollow or ********? or a mixture?

Yes only comments. I would guess that 90% are sporting the nofollow attribute.

Maruk bro really a nice informative thread. Just subscribing to stay in touch with this.

:)

Got a few questions :

1) How many searches does the keyword have per month?
2) What are your rankings in bing and yahoo?
3) Are you ranking #15 in US or?
4) Are you using ONLY amazon to monetize the traffic?
5) What plugins are you using? I mean other than the usual, All in one seo etc.

According to your traffic travis image you have not done much for on page SEO.. Why not?

Nice Thread!

I got one question:

I am with 14 Keywords in the Top 20 of google (only one Niche). 2 Keywords are number one, but the others are stuck. I ordered one fiverr gig a month (for backlinking) and there is no constant link velocity but i'd like to change that.

What's the best way to improve the rankings with scrapebox? I guess if i start blasting my sites now like u do they get sandboxed cause it's not natural to google. The sites are 6-7 months old.

1) It is in the OP
2) No rankings in either
3) It is in the screen a couple posts above, US
4) Yup, only Amazon atm. Once traffic increases and stabilizes I might add adsense or something.
5) Other than the usual I use an affiliate review plugin in called MYRP

According to your traffic travis image you have not done much for on page SEO.. Why not?
It is in the same post as the screen also in the OP. My site is very optimized but TT doesn't see it for some reason.

My opinion:
The best way to improve rankings in this particular case is big blasts followed by high PR backlink campaign.
No I don't think you will get in the 'sandbox'. I personally don't believe that one can get his website 'sandboxed' by backlinking alone.

Wow this, thread grew faster than I would've thought. Can't keep up with the PMs :p 60 sec wait period between them.

So, my goal here is to 1) rank my site and make sales 2) to show you what happens when you aggressively (I mean aggressively) run your SB software.

This is great stuff. I like that you test things and don't just go with the flow. Looking forward to hear about your experiences. I had a niche site sandboxed after it was hit with a xsumer blast of 40.000 links. But in general is it hard to get sandboxed - this was my fist time.

Btw - is SB a fixed price or is it a monthly fee that you pay for the software?
