I was wondering (didn't find it in the post) how long it took for your backlinks to show up in yahoo? Am I still doing this correctly: site:mywebsite.com in yahoo? I was thinking from something I heard awhile back that yahoo doesn't show backlinks anymore, or they were phasing it out to some extent.

if u want to findout backlinks in Yahoo u need to use

linkdomain:mywebsite.com

Or maybe u mean yahoo site explorer? Try googling that, first link is YSE. Type in ur site, and ull c inlinks - those r ur indexed backlinks.

One question about private proxies, when you put your list of private proxies in SB do you test them? and do they all report as OK. Out of my 25 proxies I awarage 19-20 good proxies, allways 4-6 proxies are NOK... Did you experience this as well?

Hey everyone,

Took a day off yesterday (much needed!) and now its time to report back. Some new and interesting things so I'll jump right into an update and then tackle questions.

UPDATE:

YSE continues to blow up. Crossed 19,000 links today to 19,061 with a new paged picked up. GWT still not showing links, though this isn't a big surprise as this normally takes a while I did notice increased in keywords and impressions, to things are moving up at GWT.

Last time I reported on blasting a new set of keywords. I previously ranked for none of them. Now I rank for 80% of them. BIG jump. Mostly page 8-19, but I did pick up a new first pager. Looks like traffic is up a tick, but not enough to report. Will follow for next couple of days.

Moving forward I am going to continue blasting both the new article plus the front page with the new set of keywords. Will add additional article in 1-2 days.

Now Questions:

To answer, My main keyword is still as #12. I have not focused on it lately as I have been chasing a ton of secondary keywords, but will probably dedicate a day to bouncing back onto the front page. At least I am holding very steady.

Your backlinks are getting indexed incredibly fast. I was wondering how often do you ping your backlinks?

I am not pinging any of them now. I only pinged the first bunch to increase indexing speed. I do create tens of thousands of links a day, so the 19K showing now is just a fraction of what is really out there.

I'm using proxies you recomended, since I am in Europe and they are all over USA perhaps ms times for some are to long so they timeout, perhaps you get better times because you are closer to or based in USA?

Do you just enter your domain name into "linksrss.com" I am not new here but have never come across this process before. Would you mind explaining this in more detail please. This seems like an important part of the process and I would love to understand it completely. I have my stupid hat on today.

I have a second PC scraping all night and average about 200 unique auto accept sites per day; that's about 12 hours of constant work by my PC and 20 mb per second internet connection. 30 days later half will no longer be around or accept automatically.

Can I ask how the heck you can get so many sites? And 30 days later how many will still auto accept?

Couple of quick questions that I can follow up on right away:

I am based out of Seattle and I believe some of the proxies I have are local. I suspect that because you are in Europe, that could be part of the problem, but definitely not certain. I'd contact support.

Thank you for the 'rep'. It is appreciated. So by separate domain, I mean a domain that isn't the one you are targeting. I'll break it out as I see how my description can be confusing.

1. Lets say you own Car.com and you just built a ton of backlinks to Car.com. Take all those backlinks, then go to links2rss.com.

2. At links2rss.com input all those links and then fill out all the fields. Say Car.com has a feed at Car.com/feed, but that in the feed field.

3. On submission links2rss.com will generate a series of XML docs depending on how many links you put in and how many links you assigned to each doc. Download all of these docs by right clicking and downloading manually.

4. Now take all of these downloaded XML docs and upload them on any domain OTHER than Car.com (as the example). So Truck.com or Moped.com would work great. The reason being is you don't want hundreds (or thousands) of links pinged that all eventually lead to Car.com, sitting on Car.com. Leaves a possible big foot print. This is one of those 'better safe than sorry' things.

5. So once you have uploaded all of your docs to say Truck.com, now head over to pingfarm.com and ping each doc you uploaded. This will start spiders running through and discovering all of your links leading back to Car.com. Be careful how much you ping. I have heard stories of people over pinging and leading to a deindex/sandbox. I can not independently verify, so if I were you, I would verify first on a test website.

I have several boxes running constantly. Pretty custom setup. I also have more than one connection and more than one location. Scale is everything. It would be a whole other discussion to go into that at the moment I won't since I am thinking about selling these lists online. No final decision yet, but am working with a team to get a site up while I figure it all out. More will come on that in a week or so.

What % of your links are do-follow?

I do not track do/no follow links. I really don't think it is that important. I think the big search engines use them no matter what quite frankly. I might set up a side by side test at some point as that would be really interesting. For right now I don't care because I am focuses on pure volume. I also think it would really throw up a flag if a huge portion of your links are do.

Say, purely for example using made up numbers, 50% of all links on the internet are do and 50% are no. If you had 100,000 natural links, then that ratio should stay fairly close to 50/50. Now lets say a site come out of nowhere with a 95/5 split. Throw up a flag? Possibly. If I were Big G and wanted to combat unnatural websites I certainly would look for this.
