I noticed that many times, deathbycapycha return no text for the image.
Many times, they just return something like this: captcha=xxxx&is_correct=1&text=
The captcha is marked as correct, but they do not return the text. Looks like some of their people are tired to type the text...

What platform? What email provider? How many email server connections do you have set? Do you have manual text captcha enabled? What decaptcher service do you use? Can have so many reason...

This has been fixed in 1.1.48, which is now available.

My only real suggestion is that they somehow combine all the profile building output into one file. At the moment u get one file for accounts that are succesful,one file for accounts that need email activation, one file for accounts that are activated. Its a nightmare. There is also no facility at the moment to retry failed signups, and recheck email validation n+ days after you signup (does scrapeboard add to activated list or replace it if you re-run email activation?).
that being said, its in beta, and I imagine its all split up like this for development and testing purposes. I wud imagine that wen it is released it would be streamlined better.
Actually, why doesnt scrapboard just dump the whole text files thing and use a sql db?

The additional files can be considered temporary files, needed only for email activation. The only important file after activation is the .sbacc file.
You can re-run the email fetcher and activation as many times you want. When new emails are found, they can be activated and will be added to the .sbacc file.
ScrapeBoard does not use a database because the way it write and read files is way faster than a database (a database was used in the early preview version last year).

I've been fairly happy so far beta testing this for you guys I'm getting decent speeds via threading and with your now released EE captcha auto recognition, i like your progress track.
I just downloaded and updated, and ran a scrape for 780 Expression Engine forums. With only using the internal sb captcha ocr, i came away with 32 forum profiles posted.
I don't really care to be honest as to the success rate, as this test was simply for connectivity, ocr'ing and it was really a 5 min process which didn't cost me a dime. My questions to you are twofold:
1) Are you guys using Saimtruth's ocr engine/server?
2) Do you guys plan on offering at some point recaptcha solving? What other captchas are you guys currently training right now?

I just know exacly what i want in the software, so ifthat's complaining ... so be it
As a recent convert to ScrapeBox I am eager to get ScrapeBoard, can someone who is up to date with the current state of play let us know what stage we are at. I appreciate that as with all software it will be subject to constant updates but it would be good to know where we are right now, as in is it really ready for use or should we wait a while longer?
Spinning the email address makes sense to me, good sugestion.

I bought ScrapeBoard last night... Looking forward to digging into it but first I'm going to study up a bit on how it works.

I suppose its subjective and all depends on your goals. If your wanting a program that is great with formums and can give you profiles and posts and register on a lot of forums with constant updates, then yes, its ready. If your wanting it to replace xrumer, then no its not there yet, I mean I suppose it could, it would just depend on exactly what you were using xrumer for.
It has captcha solving for SMF, Phpbb and now Expression Engine. Based on where it was 5 months ago and where it is today its making solid progress. I altered and loaded up some xrumer lists and walked away with 4K profiles before the Expression Engine OCR was added. If you use decaptcher service it is of course significantly higher. The compatibility with forums is good in my opinion, way better then xrumer out of the box. The captcha solver is obviously not as powerful yet, but its making solid progress. I am not sure what the plans of the developer is exactly regarding the path of captchas and what is going to happen when.
I do know they are capable of making it just as powerful as xrumer in the way of solving captchas. I also know that they have 1.5 years of just scrapebox under their belt and scrapebox wasn't their first rodeo. That said I can't believe that they would have started scrapeboard without taking into account the fact that captchas would be an important part. They aren't they type to just start something and do it half way. Again I don't know the exact path or exactly what they have planned, but I know they are committed, so its really just a matter of time and how long before they are able to implement everything they want to and are able to.
Hehe, its faster then orignial version, and frankly if given the exact same perameters and you just looking for say forum profiles, its faster then xrumer.
