I'm getting about 60% success running old xrumer blasts I've bought.

1 month ago the same lists were getting about 10% so it's improving. I'll put it away again and try the same lists in a month and see how it goes.

I loaded up a deathbycaptcha account with about $25 and it's only used about $3 and given me about 30,000 profiles.

Excellent test, thanks I was really interested in that.

Debating on jumping in the bandwagon as well. I mean I don't have a lot of money but was recently saving for Xrumer... but I LOVE Sweetfunny and would rather support this project.

Ahh thoughts? I of course wanna start getting rank ASAP but don't mind errors with BETA software :P

60%? Not to shabby! I imagine its because alot of the forums that werent programmed into SB a month ago (I.E the phpBB2 that i mentioned earlier in the thread) are now programmed, with both the newer versions, as well as the older versions. I'm still having issues with my Deathbycaptcha solving the image text. I'll contact SF and see what she says.

When you contact support regarding DBC, pls. also forward the scrapeboard.sil, which you can find in the Configuration directory.

I bought it and I am currently tesing it, I am not very convinced at the moment, anyway I will post a feedback here after few days to be sure of results I get

I purchased this a month ago and struggled to get it to do much. Left it alone for a week and came back to a few updates and now I am able to create quite a few profiles from old xrumer blasts

Whilst this is still a pre-release beta the possibilities are amazing. Looking forward to this moving forward. Think I may get a vps to run scrapebox and scrapeboard on. Also have amr and tbs so might use them on the vps too.

Thanks sweetfunny, keep up the good work

I am a long time user of ScrapeBox... and just purchased Scrapeboard.

Right now I am still trying to scrape some keywords to get my forum lists going... but the keyword scraper tool is NOT working for me.

Anyt thoughts from anyone.... before I submit a ticket?

Sure, but can you be more specific on what is NOT working? Are you getting errors, if so what are they? Is it not harvesting enough, or too many or is it freezing, etc....

What are the curently supported platforms ?

ScrapeBoard can create accounts, post profiles and create topics on the following forum platforms:
vBulletin 3.x and 4.x
phpBB 2.x and 3.x
SMF 1.x and 2.x
Invision Power Board (IPB) 3.x
MyBB 1.x
Expression Engine (accounts and profiles only )

Any other platform, or other versions of the supported platform will cause the account creation to fail.
Before using forum lists not harvested with ScrapeBoard, make sure they fall within the platform versions above.

More platforms will be added, stay tune...

From the help file: http://www.scrapebox.com/dl/sboard/release/help/

Just bought it,the GUI looks good. It's a bargain at the price.I realise it'll have bugs but willing to accept that as I know it'll improve as the updates are released. Now to watch the video......

Thank you for your trust in the ScrapeBoard team.
Yes, bugs (as long they are reported and not posted here like "I cannot harvest" and such) will be fixed with highest priority.
As more details and information the reporting user can provide, as faster a bug will be fixed.

What i don't like about the sboard so far it that each enhine is poorly trained :(. For example many times it can't detect some basic info, like that activation email was sent or some form fields were missing, etc.

You guys only develop the code and we have to train the software or will you in the future release well trained DB for each forum engine ?

So far GUI looks ok :).

Looks like SBoard has made the expected progess. I'm still on the fence whether i should buy it now or wait for the release.

How many active profile are you getting from a 10,000 profile blast?

I have seen marked improvement over the past few weeks alone since I have been paying attention and its 1000% different then it was just at Christmas when I was using the first beta.

As of right now I know they are constantly improving the recognition of the platforms. They may however additionally offer the option to teach scrapeboard custom forms as well at some point. But we are still beta, so I would say its make excellent progress so far. The developers don't put out junk, and they stay on top of it supporting and improving it. However there are only so many hours in the day.

On some platforms I have gotten 500% more accounts with scrapeboard then with xrumer and thats with a custom learning file in xrumer. Out of the box scrapeboard would have out performed xrumer by 700-1000% on those forums. However overall xrumer can still obviously create more accounts because it offers more captcha solving options, at the moment anyway.

Again scrapeboard is still beta and xrumer is 5+ years old. Not too mention the time saved with a user friendly GUI on scrapeboard alone vs xrumer is exponential. Xrumer might work decent, but for being 5+ years old its GUI is MAJORLY lacking.

Anyway I digress..... :)

Scrapeboard is awesome, at least give it till the end of the year and make a judgement call then.

I have gotten several thousand profiles from just screwing around with it. But you have to realize that forum profiles are a completely different animal then other things such as blog comments. There is SOOOO much involved that you can't just say I am getting X profles from X number blasted. So if you have a targeted list you could get 8000+ profiles at the moment from a 10,000 profile blast with scrapeboard, but if you have a poor list you will get significantly less or none. So again its subjective.

When i use it with decaptcher i get tons of accounts failed. How come you get so many profiles ?

So far xrumer works much better.

Not bad, Scrape board is taking decent steps to improving their performance. Since they are taking the initiative to improve their game I may just give them a shot soon.

Is their OCR system coming along or am I going to have to give decaptcha more business?

has anyone had success with just using their captcha solver at the moment?

I have lots of captchas to use but I was just wondering how the whole system works. If I put in captchas is it going to use mine over the built in captcha solver??

Thanks

The sequence it will use to solve captchas is this:
1. Internal OCR (when enabled)
2. Manual solver (when enabled)
3. Decaptcher services (when enabled)

If one solver fail, it will automatically use the next enabled solver, for example:
You have Internal ocr enabled, manual captcha disabled and decaptcher services enabled. ScrapeBoard will use the internal ocr first, and if it fail, it will fallback and use your decaptcher service.

I have scrapebox and want to expand my ways of getting diversified backlinks.
Right now I am buying xrumer services. I have a lot niche websites.
Would you guys recommend me to buy scrapeboard now as a long term investment for getting profile links? Or would you advise me to keep buying xrumer services for all those new sites I am building? Cost of buying services can quickly rise higher than 97 usd.

Is it a good time to step in now or wait a few months? And if I buy now, it's a 1 time payment and I will be getting all future updates when it becomes non-beta?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, its a one-time payment and you get all future updates and releases of ScrapeBoard without any additional payments, same like ScrapeBox.

Right now im having issues still (I emailed support) with Deathbycaptcha. Scrapeboard can figure out my balance, but when I test it against an image captcha, I keep getting 403 errors. If i'm not manually solving captcha's, then I wont be able to register profiles. With me this is my ONLY problem with Scrapeboard. I've created some pretty big lists of forums to create profiles on, and I would be unleashing the hounds if I could just get this Captcha solving issue taken care of.

403 means forbidden. Can you forward the scrapeboard.sil file, which you can find inside the configuration folder?
- Start ScrapeBoard, do some account creation, and when you get the 403 errors, abort and exit ScrapeBoard, then forward the mentioned scrapeboard.sil file to support.

The support with scrapebox is excellent. It gets updated on a regular basis. I've found countless uses for it. Not having it makes as much sense as not having my fingers or toes.

If scrapeboard is at least half this good then I'm all for it. I'm getting ready to purchase it for sure, just not set on when the best time to jump in is. Even if it's currently a little buggy that's no big deal.

If a fresh scraped list can get ~30% success (with or without ocr) then that's a fine starting point for me
