I'm not sure if this is published allready but I'm sure some of you will find it useful. Basically this is a step for step guide on how to easily find high PR d0foll0w blogs without worrying about getting your site penalized. If you find it useful, please thank me and then follow my SEO Journal here at BHW.
1) Choose all your competitors working with blog comments.
2) Find all their pages (site:domain.com)
3) Remove duplicate pages
4) Find backlinks for all of their pages (link:domain.com/url/)
5) Remove duplicate domains
6) Remove malware
7) Filter out pages with more than 80+ external links
8) Check domain pagerank
9) Filter out PR lower than 4
10) Manually check if d0foll0w and filter out all nofollow
11) Combine list with your previous lists - might want to have one for new and one for old
12) Find all pages with open comments for each and every domain (site:domain.com footprint)
13) Check URL pagerank to know which one you should comment on
13) Manually write genuin blog comments to make sure it's white hat
14) Find new sites in the comments and do the same thing all over again
This will take some time but remember that a high PR d0foll0w link is worth so much more than hundreds of PR0 nofollow posts spammed by hundreds of other people. Those can actually do more harm than good.
