when scrapebox crashes there is is file crashdump poster submitted
can i anyhow help my selfe with that file ?

i have all sort of problems with SB when dealing with large lists (but hey if you dont do it on large scale you wont achive nothing)
-before i noticed only crashes (even on small lists) when using slow posting and decapcher
-then i started doing heavy duty harvesting with multithreaded harversted, crashes again..i just go sleed or go out of home and think "stuff willl run on it selfe"....it might crash....although crash at harvester usually dont happen soon, it might take at least 1 million urls harvested before it will crash
-now i get crashes even at fast post (it actually freezes)

its extremly anoying becouse becouse i can export succefull and failed posts
in last 24 hours i run fast poster 3 or 4 times ....one time it crashed on 6 hours, 2nd time on 2 hours, 3rd time 2 hours, one time i stopped it my selfe

i just uninstalled some aplications from my computer (windows 7, 1 year old HP notebook with 4gigs of ram) now i am running SB for 2 hours....perhaps i will have more luck now...perhaps i should also disable some NIS (norton) live scan thats trigered automaticly ever a few hours or so, although i doubt that makes problem

in mean time i want to know if that crashdubmposter submited file can be in any use to me...the thing is file is quite bigger then original list is

EDIT: another crash in 1 hour, removing a few programs from computer didnt help at all

ok, I think there is a problem with the proxy features with the new scrapebox versions. we have 3 VPS being used by 2 guys. the other 2 we did a full reset and load scrapebox then the harvesting works.

the other 1 is strange, we did reset it and then it still dont harvest, even without proxies.

Funny thing is we recently bought proxies to compensate the scrapping [ we didn't buy them previously as we only use scrapebox for scrapping emails and sites ] VPS2 shows scrapping for a while then it was blocked, but when we transfer to the VPS1 those proxies still work. While VPS3 still not harvesting.

If logic is to be put out, its like the IP of the servers are being leaked and still used in the scrapping feature, which would probably mean why VPS2 and VPS3 got blocked by Yahoo in Google.

If anyone could check this out with their own experience it would be nice.


I'm not downing scrapebox its a superb tool, there is no tool out there that can scrape better in the search engines.

Your IP could be leaked indeed. Check if you can reach Google and Yahoo through your browser, with and without the proxies.

Dumb question here but do you need proxies to post on Blogengine sites? I mean there is no akismet or anything like it right? The only worry would be a complain to my ISP or possibly my domain registra?

Any other worries?

Blogenine blogs can use Akismet indeed. And yes Akismet is the least of your worries. When complaints start rolling in at your ISP you'll defo feel the heat.

Not sure if anyone is feeling this but when I do a sb blast 90% are coming back as failed in slow post mode. Not sure if its my settings BUT from the experts here what is the BEST settings to set sb to for both fast post and slow post.

I have a standard Qwest dsl connection wireless, and a new HP dual quad processor. What settings should I be posting at to get the BEST results please.....Thank you

Personally, I wouldn't use the slow poster.
On the fast poster these are my settings:
Connections: 40-50
Timeout: 90sec
Proxies: 100+ / latency <2000ms
This gives me about 40% successful posts on a randomly harvested list.

My downpipe is 20Mb. So adjust your settings accordingly.

my SB freezes a lot, for example i do backlink checker and then press download all, and I wait like 30 minutes till the program starts responsing again, and another time I do malware test for 10k urls and it freezes again

So I just scraped URLs and had to click "Stop Harvesting" button. SB crashed giving this error:

Scrapebox has some serious security issues.
It's leaking our real IP even when using proxies!

Note: i ALWAYS use fresh proxies when comment spamming with Scrapebox!

Thanks to Scrapebox i'm on Stop Forum Spam and their database.
I found it out when i got banned by several sites with ZBBlock installed.

As the guy told you, public harvested proxies come with L3 proxies which are transparent, your ip will be passed through.

I just bought 12 proxies for 20 bucks to Unr3al. This is the first service that I test and I found they are awesome performers. As a newbie Im not allowed to post link but you should find it eassily.

Hi, I am a new user of scrapebox and have some Qs

1.- If the poster crashes, where can I find the log of the Posted OK items of that sesion that crashed?

2.- Bought some private proxies, when I start posting all of those proxies are asked for credentials (user/pass). A window pops up inquiring and pausing the whole process.
This is annoying because It cant be left unatended for too long. I am using the correct format proxy : port : user : pass.. Anyone with the same issue?

3.- A bit confused about the footprint concept. What is the main utility of it?

4.- Can SB post on blogger and how?

5.- Any way to merge the export of "Posted" blogs with past ones, instead of overwriting the previous report?

6.- When you abort the posting process, close the posting window and later continue; will SB skip the Posted OK urls ?
