Hey all. I first looked into IM about a year ago. I dabbled a little bit, played around with Facebook ads, the Challenge.co etc. and unsurprisingly didn't really achieve much. Now I'm back with a vengeance. Here is the key realization that I made...

I'm a perfectionist by nature. Whilst this has helped me achieve great things it can also have it's downsides. Regarding my experience with IM, here's what went wrong. There is so much information online that I often experience 'paralysis by analysis'. I get caught up in looking for the 'perfect' keyword or method. The problem is, nothing is perfect! As a result, up until now I have done a whole load of thinking and planning, but not much doing!

Ding...ding...ding... all change please!

This is the new me. A new man with a new plan. I have 45 days until I have to spend a few months away from home due to work. As such my plan is to achieve a passive income stream before I leave. I'm going to start simple. Find potentially profitable keywords, build a blog, write articles, create backlinks, get a good SEO ranking and ultimately generate some sales for CB products. I know that there is much, much more to IM than this alone, but hey, we all need to start somewhere right?

I'll keep this thread updated the whole way through. I'd really like not only to achieve my passive income goal, but also help out the other newbies on here that are stuggling to work through the endless stream of information that at times can be totally overwhelming.

I have the time, the commitment and some disposable income to utilise where appropriate. In other words, I have everything I need. No more excuses, and certainly no more over-analysing.

T-minus 45 days, let's do this...

Right now I'm keyword hunting. I'm using Market Samuari combined with this truly excellent thread...

[Method] STEP by STEP Keyword Research for Newbies in the White Hat SEO section. Sorry, can't post a link, BHW doesn't appear to trust me just yet :).

Looks like I may have found a couple. Further research will tell me for sure.

Never ever give up no matter you lose money or whatever. Just keep doing your stuff!

"There are 6 billion people in the world and every single one is a diamond in some stage of being polished. Life is either going to polish you up or grind you down. And the difference between the two lies in how much hope you have, how much faith you have in the fact that you do carry something special on the inside... that's waiting to get out. Many give up, not knowing they were only 10 minutes from triumph."
Perry Marshall

Good luck!
Bk...

Just learnt another lesson...

MS was showing really nice search volume for my two potential keywords, yet Google was showing only a fraction of that number. In fact, Google couldn't give any Trends data for the term as the volume was so small...

I was very confused .

And then I realized. Google keyword tool was set to "exact match" and MS was set to "broad match".

D'oh :stupid:.

Brush it off and carry on!

You might consider giving yourself 1 day of research and
get your keywords. And then no more research until you
have created the blog/website or however you plan to use it.

45 days isn't alot of time. So you don't want to spend all of
it doing research and planning.

Good plan. I'm hitting it hard today and will do the same tomorrow as I have the day off work. I must resist the temptation to spend the next twenty years looking for the 'perfect' keyword that doesn't exist :).

Good luck!!

I bought a few services on the tread services for sale, it helped me allot making money... maby you can do something with this info

Yea, consider that trap(which all of us fell before, or will fall) an initiation to the real thing.

Good luck.

Update:

As I'm running to a deadline, I have chosen to make a purchase from Deleted member 21250, aka The Keyword Shoppe. Initially I was going to buy some standard keywords, however after a great chat with him I'm going for a better quality keyword that has the EMD available. That should be with me by the end of the week.

In other news, I now have Scrapebox which I'm looking forward using. I'm also planning on picking up some private proxies to make the most of it. I'm looking into getting an Auto Approve list too. I'm happy to spend a bit more cash than I necessarily have to, just so I give this project the absolute best chance of success. I can learn from this experience and adjust future projects accordingly.

That last bit is important, don't be dissapointed if it doesnt work out first time around. Just keep changing/improving until it works.

The fact that you made this thread proves to me that you're capable of overcoming the obstacles simply because you're passionate and dedicated. You will succeed, it's just a matter of when.

Best of luck ;) It will be very interesting to see how everything goes for you.

Good luck. You are way ahead of the game of 99% of the people who try this.. because you are taking action.

I know it's like Paralysis Of Analysis a lot :)

Any update on this?

Hey. Sorry for the delay everyone, I've been away for a while. I had a keyword and EMD lined up courtesy of The Keyword Shoppe which initially looked great. High search volume, low competition etc. However it turned out that the traffic was massively seasonal. 90 percent of the annual traffic came in one month each year!

No worries though as Deleted member 21250 understood the issue and will be sending a replacement keyword my way very soon (hopefully today). Once that arrives I'll be cracking on with the project and listing every detail of my adventure here.

Awesome - I'm in the same boat as you. No more analysis paralysis! Good luck!
