Akismet detect the spinning from scrapebox

I buy few days ago scrapebox in order to give juice to some splogs. I bought 10 private proxy on YPP and a VPN. Before starting I really wanted to understand how was Akismet working because I focus on commentluv. So i buy a .info install wordpress on it and did some test on the SLOW POSTER mode and discover this :

- Comment spinning on SB + VPN = SPAM
- Normal comment on SB + VPN (same IP) = NOT SPAM

And I tried with different comment and different VPN, and it's the same.

What do you call "normal comment"?

If you've spun it properly then Akismet wouldn't be able to tell it from any other comment.

In any case, Akismet operates on the IP and domain level, rather than whether the comment has a curly bracket.

Its all bout your spinning you need to make those comments, as unique as possible, and remember its all about quality of links over quantity. I wish you the best

Thanks for your comment, I actually found that Few of my splogs on which I was commenting was detected by akismet as spam. Spinning with scrapebox on not filtered blogs works find .. Actually !

I agree master-of-backlinks Quality>quantity. I will post around 100 comments a day on mainly ******** blog and for around 20 of my splogs. So around 5 comments submit per splogs per day that should be fine.

Akismet is great for blocking blog commenting. I used to get tons of spam comments daily but hardly anything gets through now I've gone back to Akismet. As an owner of Scrapebox that worries me a little! Really the blogs without Akismet installed must be owned by complete knobheads and comments left on these blogs must be pretty worthless anyway if there's 1000's of links on them.

You're better off using Scrapebox to find good pr sites and posting good quality comments that will be accepted by blog owners.

I did as you suggested, but some of the high PR sites say that I am spamming and wants me to email the webmaster. Even though I actually took the time to read the blog and comment something relevant.

In that case, how do those sites justify that my backlink request is spammy according to their 3rd party spam filter? I checked the typical email blacklist and didn't see my site's IP address on it...

Try to always post well written comments related to the niche of the site on which you are posting comments. That way, you would always have high approval rate.

Dont just write "Hey, great post" comments. Be creative and think like the blog owner.

It is an error of akismet. That is why some people dont activate it because legitimate comments are thrown to the spam folder.

The issue does not affect you alone. Not just your own domain. However, you still need to keep posting comments of good quality.

I have literally hundreds of spun comments with 3-5+ synonyms for each word so I effectively have hundreds of thousands of unique comments. I also make sure to put in the link list a ton of inner pages from my site which helps. I use public proxies and most of my links stick. You should just write good comments, comment within your niche (makes a huge difference when someone sees a general comment then looks at your site and it is in their niche), and scan/analyze all your links before submitting. I get tons of links this way.

also look for sites that use the "recent comments" widget. I have literally thousands of backlinks just from one site b/c of this and I doubt G would penalize you for it.

Akismet is too strong in blocking legitimate comments. There has to be some relaxing in their algorithms and eliminate the permanent life long blocking of domains.

That is not trube, akismet don't have the power to dected the spinned contect. I don't believe that even google has it

Not that akismet detects spun content. The issue is that if a blog owner is used to seeing comments like "Hey, great post", he will mark that as spam. Then akismet will be busting all comments posted by that spammer. Then the spammer would think that his comments are being detected by akismet.

Write good comments and you will pass akismet.

It really depends on the quality of you comments, akismet can't recognize whether the comment is spun or not. But if your comment looks spammy then it's marked by user as spam and akismet starts to ban all your comments with the same link (website domain). And it doesn't help if you use multiple 3rd level domains, this only works with wordpress*com and other big blogging services.
