I get what your saying, but its not like your loosing...i think you gain more than loosing

The people who are lazy are the ones who win, the people that work hard to find better links are getting SCREWED.

I have no problem donating some links to AMR to help the users a bit more, but they should have a PRIVATE import section as well.

Because it's the internetz, a place were people can post their opinion because they feel they're right or have something important to say.

Just because it is the "internetz" doesn't mean normal decorum goes out the window.

You have an issue with a person, the proper thing to do is to talk it out with that person as opposed to call him out in a forum.

I would hope that is how you would handle that in real life and this is no different just because we are online.

I agree. I/We don't have ill will towards the owner of AMR ( Vince ) and we don't condone talking crap about him on a personal level! We are just voicing our opinion about the product itself and not the owner.

As far as I can tell, from the threads I've read.... Vince stays on top of things. Great support etc.... I am just really really frustrated by this feature of sharing the links in a global database.

Are you more afraid about people getting a bigger list because that means they'll be able to create more backlinks, or that people will be adding crappy articles which will reduce the quality of the article directory? Or both? I can see why people wouldn't want to share their lists for those two reasons, but I think the pros of AMR far outweigh the cons.

They will be spamming up the article directory that I harvested.

There are definitely more positives than negatives for AMR, but I don't agree with sharing directories. You will have noobs opening the program up, raping these directories with horrible articles, spamming it up. There should be some room for more advanced users to be able to fully use AMR to it's potential abilities without having to worry about other people ruining the potential link juice.

I'm also kinda pissed off because I feel as if Vince/AMR is taking advantage of the customer base by making us find the links for him, and him hand picking or adding it to his global database.

You don't see Botmaster, or SweetFunny doing that... and they have been immensely successful.

If I could choose how AMR should run, I would either want Vince to update AMR directories once a month to keep the directory list fresh, or not update it at all and allow us to find our own directories.

Just my 2 cents!

The people who are lazy will always be lazy in other areas, why do you think a lot of people fail in IM.

Besides, if their was a private import section you would most likely put all of yours there and hope to get some "bonus" ones off other people not using the private list...

Personally, I think you can gain more by using everyone's lists. AMR should only be a part of your strategy anyway.

well also knowing that harvesting links would add to everyone's list only the dogooders will harvest links. The rest will be lazy and wait for other people to harvest links

meaning less people will be harvesting for directories now. And if they had something where you had to add a certain amount to be able to access that big list i think would be more fair.

I agree that pros outweight cons but the people that spent hours of hard work is suddenly gone.

Like if i was using sick submitter, or xrumer and my lists were just shared to everyone else.

I guess we have a different point of view, because I think the people who are lazy will always lose out to the people who work hard, especially in the IM game. If you're busting your balls to find article directories, then you are probably taking the time to write quality spun articles, making sure you are using the correct categories, shooting for that high submit percentage. Sure it's nice to have thousands of directories to submit to, but look at how many threads pop-up here about people having trouble submitting to them using AMR.

So really the ones you need to worry about are your niche competitors who work just as hard as you, or harder. They aren't going to solely rely on articles for back links. If they are using AMR too then you can call it even.

I think in the grand scheme of things, this is a small issue. I could see if we were talking about ScrapeBox. If that program shared our lists then there would be concern, because those blogs we post on can easily be diluted losing their backlink power.

Come on! dont be selfish... im an AMR user too and lists are really helpfull.

AMR helps your working more than u paid for it!!!!! I add my own lists too.this doesnt annoy me anymore.

The articles I harvested are ones I worked for, why should THEY be SHARED. Why should NOOBS who just BOUGHT the program and donated/pitched in NOTHING have instant access to the pot of gold?

It makes NO sense to me.

It's a nice idea, but there are only so many links in the world... what if there were no new directories to add to the existing directory?

I agree though, it's like what if all my xrumer / sick submitter links were shared with everyone else.... wtf.

I don't care if they lose out in the long run in IM. I care about that they don't benefit off my hard work NOW. Just because I'm working hard in other areas besides harvesting article directories does not mean I should share my article directories!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no difference between Scrapebox links and Article directories. Sharing the links between each other will bring down the link juice passed down from the unique domains themselves.

SHHH... you sound exactly like the type of people I'm afraid of sharing the links with... always wanting a hand out and not contributing jack shit themselves.

Anyone can say they contributed directories but the fact of the matter is 90% of the users of AMR are abusing the current system.

lol u r just a big baby stop crying, its not your job that saying what type of man i am.coz u dont know me anymore.

I am right, all other article submitters monthly subc. and sucks, but AMR is one time fee app.

So this means actually u give your thanks to AMR developer with help him updating directory lists.

Dont act like ur %100 CLEAR about spammin & abusing.

I think its fair...
Nobody loses and everyone wins ;)

Sharing is caring :)

I'm not trying to characterize you, but your the one that sounds like a cry baby begging for free handouts.

Get your own links... stop relying on my work.

I do give my thanks to Vince, and IF you read this entire thread you would see I have praised AMR for being an awesome program. Just because the program is not expensive doesn't mean I should be grateful for whatever he's giving us and not ask to fix the faults. He put the program at that price, I didn't tell him to.

If this product was as great as it is, and he priced it at 200 or 300, I'm sure a lot of us would still pay. He's the one that put the price on it, so that shouldn't stop me from pointing out flaws in the program.

As far as me being 100% clear from spamming, none of us are. Some of us however, are more CLEAN when it comes to spamming.

I don't just rehash articles or auto spin.

I take a UNIQUE written article by me that consists of 5 paragraphs, and I write 2 extra paragraphs for each existing paragraph. So each paragraph now has 3 different versions..... that puts me at 15 paragraphs... then i go in and spin each and every single word in the 15 paragraphs.

That's why my "spam" is more clean and actually makes sense unlike the type of junk I bet you put out. Judging by your grammar/spelling I bet you couldn't even put a normal sentence together without making it sound like it was written by an monkey.

PEACE.

ok now seriously you're telling us scraping for article directories is a 'hard work'? lmao

Sounds like Socialism to me.

Those were my thoughts initially but I have not spent the time to investigate the AMR site to see if the "your sites will be implemented into our system" verbiage was in place.

LOL FUNNY OMG

I bet you haven't even TRIED to harvest and are just leeching off others hard work.

Hard work? Yes it is, anything that is taking up server time, product usage and time is work.

Time = Money

I'm currently harvesting article sources with hrefer and so far today I've harvested 3k article websites.

My word list consists of 1 million words, and I'm currently at word # 15,000.

Do you even KNOW how long this program has to be running to gather say 10 thousand? 20 thousand? 30 thousand? article directories?

Or do you even consider that some people don't even have the skills to harvest and end up harvesting the wrong links and just toss up their hands while trying?

It will probably take me about 1 month to finish this harvest... what about my server costs? Are you going to pay for them? Are you going to pay for my harvesting skills? Are you going to pay for the fact that I had to waste hours gathering word lists, combining them into one file to harvest links with hrefer? Oh not to mention, are you going to BUY me Hrefer to harvest URLS?

NO, you don't take any of that shit into account, cause you expect a free handout.

You know, I'm not even surprised most people are voting "sharing is caring", most people don't want to put in the hard work that's necessary to succeed.

I don't think it's listed on the main site but it's on the forums... here are some examples.

I can only find this on the main site

"Hundreds of Article Directories"

"And we're always looking for more! Your subscription to Article Marketing Robot will ensure that you always have fresh, working article directories that will skyrocket the link juice to your website."

Of course you'll have fresh working article directories... at the expense of your customers.

There should be an opt-in/out at the minimum or a disclaimer as most ethical software products have.
