Sniper, why don't you post the forum url (if it is not against the TOS here) so some of these concerns can be brought in house.

I'm just learning to harvest new article sites,now I don't really have an issue with sharing but it seems AMR has horded all these directories to themselves.I'd rather see ,say,another 2-500 added every month to the main list because I have a 10% success rate right now mainly due to category mismatch issues,404 etc.
Anyway I know directories close etc so it would be a good way to keep it going.If anyone uses the private option they must submit 20working sites to general use.This way people keep their list and for those without scrapebox,still get decent runs out of it.
I like AMR and have seen success with it but I don't like the fact AMR must have a scary amount of directories.Maybe vince should do a decent clean up of the shitty ,non working directories and replace them with half decent,working ones.

it has advantage and disadvantage actually, everything should be got plus and minus, no matter what, right ?
advantage is, if u use robot, it can make a lot of link, better than person can do
disadvantage is, who want to read those non-sense article ? and it's difficult to re-edit those article, cause, too heavy to handle
however, people who want to use it, i think, because don't have enough (quantity) man power to do it
but it's different from big company who has power of money to get a team.

I can't believe 60% votes for "Sharing is caring". This is Bullshit man. I have never tried to harvest any article directories but I've tried find blogs with scrapebox, let me tell you, it is definitely HARD WORK. Those ppl who are saying "sharing", you are Hypocrites and a bunch of lazy fuck.
This is definitely not fair for the guy and even though I'm benefit from his hard work, I still feel like the Owner is not doing his work right. I mean, I've never talk to the guy, but if he lets this happens, I don't care how nice he is with you, he is not a good guy.
Common, I mean, server cost, time, and even the knowledge to do all this. I respect people with skills and dedication. I bought Scrapebox for 3 months now and couldn't manage to scrape my own list of less than 1000 autoapprove blogs.

actually if you are the owner of AMR, you would definitely put the same policy...if everyone just use the database for his own, most of the noobs would feel "AMR is useless" considering how small the number of its directories. they will go away once they find out a better tool than AMR. Obviously AMR creator has been thinking about this. It's all about money man...

I have to say I agree with RealBlackHat. The fact that it is a paid service, & the work is his own - should entitle him to some exclusivity. For new users, of course it is a good thing to get access to all the links accumulated by the rest of the members. But saying that, it also is not entirely fair on those who do not want to just give-away their hard-earned work, especially when someone else is making money off of that...

I totally agree with the OP on not sharing. There are plenty of "gimmes" in this forum and available to those who would rather not do the harvesting.
I have not learned how to harvest directories yet, as I just got scrapebox. My next purchase is set to be AMR, but this would be one of those things that would have kept me on the fence had Sniper not addressed it.

Might I suggest that it be done in such a way that the default setting allows any added directories to be put into the mass directory list, but that if you want to privatize your own, you have to set that option up. That way, those who want to benefit from others work can still do so, but those of US who choose to keep their hard work to themselves can do so as well.

I have a proposition that makes sence.... dont import your hard-way-found article directories (yet) and use those which are there already...
Now after you have made your money back with them, import your article directories as o contribution, as you have used other peoples findings and profited from them
makes sence to me(?)ARM is beautiful piece of software, i have done 2 articles and submitted them.... now my site is #2 in google after few days, and i have not yet pinged my articles!
