The point when these directories start getting too much spam is the day when AMR will stop being effective. When will that come? Only Google knows.
For that reason, I am AGAINST public sharing as everyone who uses AMR will hit those same article directories and they will soon be flooded with junk content.

On the other side, most of the users wouldn't have benefits from AMR if it didn't have that many directories, so then they wouldn't buy it. That's why AMR is made that way, to make it sellable, otherwise it wouldn't even exist at all. That's why I am OK with the directory sharing at the same time I am against it.

Final decision: Can't make up a decision :D

Exactly, it's set up in a way to benefit the owner of AMR and not the hard working individuals who are trying harder than others to fulfill their SEO ambitions.

you work hard, and still use others links that they worked hard for

you benefit from others
others benefit from you

stop complaining and learn how to share :)

I never WANTED other peoples hard earned links. I never knew it was set up like that.

I should be benefiting off the product and the product owner should be the one updating the links NOT the customers.... Or the product owner could have made it a Xrumer style program where he just sells the program and other people need to find their own links.

Right now it's set up to pamper to noobs and to get money in the door for the product. That's just my 2 cents!

If AMR wants to set it self apart from other article marketing programs it needs to be the best, and right now this "link sharing feature" is a HUGE dent in the credibility of this product.

Hmm didin't know this :P how did you find this out ?

Anyways i don't really mind that much even though i have multiple times scraped new directories to get the more and more good directories

Though i don't really understand how this would benefir the AMR owner since you have the option to import your own directories for obvious reason to get more. Quite many program comes with default lists which is just for starters...

I found this out from AMR forum.

This benefits the owner because we are harvesting the links for his program and for his customers....

Listen: Vince aka sniper know this.. Already asked him 2 months back or something ... ;)

I'm sure he knows this, but most don't know about this as you can see from this thread.

I think it's unfair and there should definitely be an option put in AMR to not share the links.

man you must be one pretty selfish person in real life too, listen to yourself here damn..

to be fair i somewhat agree that there should be an option not to share your links, but if there was an option for that, i wouldnt use it. sharing is caring, good karma goes back to you

Am I being selfish or are YOU being selfish for wanting me to do all the hard work for you?

Thanks for your opinion, but I don't agree.

If it's like this, everyone can just kick up their feet and let the other guy do the work for them!

and we all know the owner of the product is a total putz....

If you don't like it, then don't use it or buy it. It's very simple.

No comment... I have no ill will towards Vince, I just want AMR to be the best Article Marketing program out.

That question you might ask Vince about instead.

He'll turn up here sooner or later to answer this himself.

Get that crap out of here.... your a noob if you really believe in what Matt Cutts has to say.

He's all about disinformation. Articles = Content... how is he going to stop CONTENT? PLEASE dude... just leave this thread and don't look back

No, how about I rather voice my opinion and get it fixed rather then not use it. Never said it's not a good product, I don't like this 'feature' however.

Don't worry about what I do, go crawl back into your hole and disappear.

I'm sure everyone added some articles.. I added about 5k to AMR too.. I think he check which ones actually accept articles and then adds them to global database.

I'm not sure if he does that or not.

I remember I submitted about 50 - 100 articles and when I closed and re-opened the program they were in my directory already.

Maybe you mean that after we submit the links... they get automatically added to our own directories, but he hand picks the ones from your directory that you added and adds it to the global database?

I've talked to him via email and PM and never got that... if you have an issue with him, why bring it out in public instead of talking to him man to man?

Because it's the internetz, a place were people can post their opinion because they feel they're right or have something important to say.

I'd have to say it's pretty dumb.

It's nice that we get bigger lists to post to but what about people that harvest their own lists, basically stealing their hard work.

I think if the AMR creators harvest lists for us then that's fine but i dont' think other people's lists should be added to it.

It's like what if I harvest secret directories, now it's going to be flooded and spammed by everyone else's articles also.

If this continues everyone will stop harvesting and just rely on hard workers to add to the list. Those people being the helpful people SHARING IS CARING :)

I get what your saying, but its not like your loosing...i think you gain more than loosing
