Ok... I have some good news...
Suddenly today my main money site that vanished for over 40 days returned to the serps, BUT almost all of my top 5 positions are not like #9-20 positions. But this is substantially better than position 400+ where everything was!
Here is what I noticed also... My main competitor has been slapped back to infinity now, and my secondary competitor (a huge whitehat site!) has been pushed back to just below me on nearly everything as well...
Here is what I did... I wish I could say for certain which (if any) of the things I did brought SOME life back into my site...
First of all, 2 weeks ago I moved to a faster host... Then a few days ago I built about 120 bookmark backlinks (using BMD and a mix of about 1000 different sites) to every single page of my site. My site is not HUGE, but this still took 2 days and cost about $50 just in deccaptcha credits to do it... Yesterday I went looking for the possibility of faulty plugins or something that google might have decided they don't like or something, and I had one called ecStatic which I was using to filter out trackback spammers and "unwanted bots"... I Had an idea that maybe it was improperly filtering some kinda googlebot system that they are using for the farmer update... I also deleted a all the deactivated plugins, and about 4-5 other misc plugins that should not be offensive in any way, but I figured might as well get rid of them since I wasn't really using them anyway.
This was a lot of stuff to change all at once, but if you are running any kind of bot filtering plugins you may want to disable them and see if it helps. Throwing some mass backlinks across your whole site may help. (I only used BMD and bookmarks cuz it was the easiest thing I could do site-wide using the "import web pages" thing to get all the deep links, but there are certainly other ways to accomplish the same objective (throwing out a small lump of backlinks to every page). I am now going to experiment with 1 page at a time trying to boost it back up to the top by throwing more backlinks at 1 page at a time....
What I am noticing is that these stupid keyword domains seem to be dominating everything now... I have a feeling they may change that cuz this certainly doesn't help their index any having all these spammy micro niche sites hogging up the whole first page of the serps. (hehe, I own a fair share those spammy keyword domain sites myself so I can rip on um

I mean, some of them the content is spun so badly you can hardly even figure out what they are TRYING to say... My thought is, they are still tinkering with the algo trying to dial everything in, so we may all be fluctuating up and down for months....
Anyway, I promised I'd return if I had anything to report... make of it what you will.
