I have a questions regarding your keyword research. After finding these long tail keywords what is the lowest avg. CPC you would accept?

For example in your video you found great long tail keyword with pretty good amount of searches but it's CPC is only $0.20. Is it worth targeting?

Rep and thanks given for this great method. As there are many that are unaware that the majority of leading domain registras seize a domain after only a few searches upon it - it is important to NOT use these systems to check avaliablity.

My xmas gift to you is a rather good php domain checker script I got from here a few years ago (the credit must go the original coder - Erik (aka TheGoat)). I have since updated it to include the .co domains and this little script will also take a csv file of your keywords, check all the pertinent domains and return the data (at the bottom of the script when its finished) which you simply copy and paste into excel thereby retaining your search counts and any other data you input.

Its a script I use everyday and its quick and effective and better still quiries the whois database directly thereby stopping the shisters from stealing the domain.

Simply unrar and load the file into xampp (just dump into the htdocs folder) and call it in a browser and let their be light!

out 280 kwrds godaddy found 36 avaliable domains
script found 26 avaliable domains

out of this godaddy found 16 domains that script didnt
and script found 5 domains that godaddy didnt;

conclude:godaddy is more correct, if he is spying or no its a debate of discussion I ll leave to others

CPC $0.20 is not bad at all if you are able to rank #1 and the exact search volume is some where around 4000. so it mainly depends upon exact search count and your site SERP position.

Also, why do the numbers vary so greatly between Match Types (Broad, [Exact] and "Phrase"). What is the difference between exact and phrase? I understand broad.

I guess Google traffic estimator shows broad search count by default and there is no option to change the match type. Google keyword tool also shows you the average CPC. You just have to enable that by clicking columns button.

Phrase Match: The keywords are used in the order shown with other words for variation.

For example: The term ‘water feature' could be shown with another word accompanying this term. i.e.: gold water feature, water feature blue, bespoke water feature, elegant water feature.

Exact Match: Exact match keywords are exactly how they sound, an exact match of the keyword searched for.

For example: The term ‘water feature' would only be shown when that term is typed in.

Although I am wondering. How can I bue sure that I foudn all the long tail keywords? And how many results (on an average) you got?
Since we can't paste more than 100 keywords in Google Tooll, am I doing it right if I end up with several Ks results to paste at a rate of 100 keyword each time?

I found 2 keywords corresponding with what i said, just made a site for each one a few days ago, i am now building links for them in order to rank them at 1st position

Godaddy isn going to mess with every domain searched for, think about it.

They indicate whether its a good keyword or not at the end of a search. If its a good domain, godaddy will more than likely grab it. Godaddy are shady asses.

I use Godaddy all the time to perform search and sometimes wait weeks or even months to register. I have never experienced it being registered already.

Anyways, I've come to rely on Google Traffic Estimator now instead of Market Samurai (crashes too many times and takes way too long e.g. hours and with having to solve captchas).

With Google's Keyword Tool, you can only analyze 100 keywords at once.

But with the Traffic Estimator, you can analyze 2500 keywords!
Just make sure you set the match type to exact (the default gives you broad match searches).
