[METHOD] How I Find Low Competition High Search Volume Keywords Using Scrapebox

great method. i have been using this for quite some time now :)

OMG! Is that true? I use Godaddy pretty much everyday to search domains! I should stop that:D

Lucky you... there is at least one thread on bhw where ppl complain about godaddy for exactly that reason. ;) Maybe you wanna read it.

Hey another thing that came to mind:
For those who don't have Market Samurai and don't like SEO Quake, try Traffic Travis. It has almost the same matrix view of the top 10/20 serps but that function is free :).

Rep and thanks given for this great method. As there are many that are unaware that the majority of leading domain registras seize a domain after only a few searches upon it - it is important to NOT use these systems to check avaliablity.

My xmas gift to you is a rather good php domain checker script I got from here a few years ago (the credit must go the original coder - Erik (aka TheGoat)). I have since updated it to include the .co domains and this little script will also take a csv file of your keywords, check all the pertinent domains and return the data (at the bottom of the script when its finished) which you simply copy and paste into excel thereby retaining your search counts and any other data you input.

Its a script I use everyday and its quick and effective and better still quiries the whois database directly thereby stopping the shisters from stealing the domain.

Simply unrar and load the file into xampp (just dump into the htdocs folder) and call it in a browser and let their be light!:)

No problem merry xmas! just for anyone who thinks this method is not worth exploring heres another present (I have far too much on my plate at the moment!) which took all of 5 minutes.

boxingweightclasses.org

4400 exact US searches
6600 Global Exact
"12,600" kw search
MS shows its a definate goer!

I could think of a few monetisation methods for this one.....

To save you some time being wasted - this domain has now been snapped up by a sharp eyed BHatter! but there is plenty, plenty more!

Isn't 4400 searches a month a bit too few to base a whole domain / site on it? Just wondering, I am still a beginner.
And thanks for the script!

Nice method!

In theory all you then need to do (if you can manage doing this over and over again) is to put in very very broad keywords at the start and then keep going! Soon you will be overloaded with keywords.

No not really but it depends on several factors - what is the value of these visitors in terms of monetisation? if you are using adsense then you would want to look at the CPC, if amazon then what products could you sell off the back and how much are they? cpa offers etc, etc. I tend to start looking at domains around the 4k exact mark - that should (if SEO'd correctly) get you a decent daily hit rate and sufficient income in return if all the above are suited.

That's actually a pretty good count. If you are able to rank top 5 for that keyword, you can expect good results.

nice method and share thanks, just got me a great domain

Update: I started using Wonder Wheel Scraper instead of keyword scraper. Result is incredible as I uncover many untapped niches.

ok i know how to use the wonderhweel scraper of course. I put in my main keyword and it gave me back like 10,00 unique keywords.

I just don`t get how to evaluate the keyword and the competition. so I take my list of 10,000 keywords and...

I know I am asking to be spoon fed here but..it is a forum. Also I am looking for a software solution that will easily automate this whole process. Like stick in my list of 10,000 keywords and have it give me 50-100 that I should focus on. Anything like that exist?

I use Godaddy all the time to perform search and sometimes wait weeks or even months to register. I have never experienced it being registered already.

That would be Market Samurai (when it works!) its avaliable here in the downloads section. I would also take a look at their Dojo within the MS website it has some great pointers for 10 to get help you identify that killer keyword.

It all depends on the registra and how many times the domain is searched for - some have higher triggers than others and some have none - its knowing which ones though hence why alternative methods are safer.....

I did this about a month ago and found a very high searched keyword that had over 1 million monthly searches and got the .net domain

Also got another one with over 3million searches

This is one of the best ways to find high searched keywords domains :)

Also you can use SB add ons to find the competition and domain names which are avaliable

I can confirm this happens. I looked up two domains about a year back, went to buy it later that night and they were gone.

Don't use registrars to check for availability. There are too many rumors that this happens sometimes.

Use some generic provider instead like for example internic.net/whois.html
