Hello BHW,

I am currently trying to create a online eBook shop with a service like ClickBank, and it requires me to use PayPal for payment service. (I usually use Neteller to manage my blackhat online business.)

So no choice but to use PayPal, when my customers make a purchase and go through PayPal's payment system, will they see my name, my address, and other personal information? If so, are there any way to hide or make these personal information anonymous?

Thank you in advance ;).

Hello gonzomcribbinz,

First of all, thank you very much for your reply!

Does it take time to upgrade to Business Account?
Don't want to wait like 2 weeks to get verified, etc.
Time is money ;)!

What about 2checkout and other Merchant Gateways... they allow Paypal payments from customers?

I wish I have a choice, but it seems like paypal is requirement to use this Clickbank-like service :(.

Is it possible for same person have 2 paypal account?
If so, what do I need (2 credit cards, 2 phone numbers, etc.)

Thanks in advance ;)!

I believe as the seller the buyer can only see your name. With a business account it's possible to change your name to that of an actual business, however, I'm not too sure what the requirements are.

I think you need to use csv files for mass payments.

Get a Merchant or Business account. Works well for me when I'm receiving multiple payments a day.

All you have to do is login to paypal, click into merchant services --> mass payments, download the csv template they give you, fill it in with all the people's email addresses and dollars amounts and then reupload

Yes, but at a cost. But either way, 2CO and PayPal hate digital products. People argue this all of the time, especially on the WarriorForum, but they are wrong. PayPal will wait until you have a couple hundred bucks in the account and PayPal figures that if it's digital, you aren't personally losing any more so thats how PayPal justifies it. 2CO is just straight up expensive, imo.

If you are serious, get an actual merchant account that doesn't require a large reserve (anything less than $500) - and sign up for PayFlow Pro so that you can still accept PayPal payments but not have to play by PayPal's rules.

Form a legal entity, even if its just a SP, get a Tax ID number (if you are American) or I think its called a VATIN if you live in the U.K. - anywhere else, just lie about your ID number.
