The more research you do on picking the stocks, the better your chance of making a profit and avoiding loss. I would usually research the stock over a 5 day period, a healthy stock will usually come up during this period. Look for healthy chart patterns and uptrends. The more technical and fundamental data you analyze, the more success you will have. I dont personally invest in these anymore due to many reasons, but to each his own.
Heres a few tips that will hopefully help you out:
-Always employ a stop loss. A good exit point would be around a 5% of a major trendline.
-Look for stocks trading a miniumum average daily volume of 100,000 shares, the more liquidity, the easier for you to enter and exit the trades.
- Avoid companies with a negative earnings per share (EPS) at all costs.
- Do some research on Short Interest. This is a very important factor in determining trends. Avoid stocks with a 5% or higher short interest when starting out.
-Dont invest in pennies, only trade.
Goodluck, let us know how it goes. Cheers.
