I dunno if you are aware but most call centres are told if they are threatened legally about their actions to shut up and not say anything. You may have just buggered any chance you had at getting through to someone important to possible get given the deal.

What they did to me was give me the 80% off coupon automatically, then when I put in domain it said oh sorry all 80% is gone, take this 50% off coupon instead, then when I got to checkout the 50% had gone down to 20%--same coupon code. You don't think this is highly illegal? Darn right it is. Everyone report them to the FCC and the FBI. Screw them and don't let them get away with it. Teach them a lesson they will never forget.

Lol, what 'supplies'? I can understand having 5 TVs only but you can't say they are now gone and continue to sell the exact same make & model for twice the price. Were the promised 80% OFF packages somehow different than the rest of the accounts? I doubt it. Classical bait and switch crap where customers are not even being offered better stuff for the higher price.

But it is ok I guess, they've gotten to a point where their affs are their bitches. That's business as an example. You can only learn from them how to be a bank breaking asshole.

Because it's theirs, and they can choose to sell off as many at 80% discount as they want. It wasn't a secret that they were limiting it, what company in their right mind wouldn't.

That is exactly the potential risk with the FCC they are taking, they never said we have 5 80% discounted packages, they said while the supplies last. They have these 'supplies' in terms of servers and bandwidth even now. So, where's the discount?

These things rarely go off but they have an enormous liability potential, just check some of the highest business ethics cases. Many started with far less innocuous infarctions and still ruined the company.
