You said MULTIPLE places. That is why I requested you disclose 1 place without giving all your sources away.

Anyway, it does not matter. Ample amount of time has passed, those who can do something about it SHOULD do.

Those who can't, unfortunately will learn 2 very important things at a high costs:

1. All work on these forums is 1-MAN-SHOW. There is no team fellas, there is no others. If they are, they are subcontracted from 1-MAN. 1-MAN catches flu, subcontracters die, so does the whole thing.

2. You should not trust your money to a person you have never seen. A person who does not own a company, a person who does not have any identifiable information. THIS IS EVERYONE ON THESE FORUMS including you and me.

If you want to still pay for the work, you must make sure:

a. You don't send it as GIFT in PayPal
b. You monitor your status for 30-40 days and make sure you can dispute it if you smell a rat.
c. You use your CC with PayPal to extend your dispute process to 6 months even if you miss PayPal boat.

These should be done to leverage your investment (money) against mishaps even if the service provider is not outright scam.

Lesson learnt hard way. Sorry for you all fellas.

Although the saying, "it's easy to be a general after the war has ended" could apply here, you make all valid points.

I am sure that most of us are aware of these, however we were incautious and naive. We were of course VERY encouraged to trust the OP by numerous positive reviews from long time members here, so we mindlessly dropped the cash into whitegun's dirty socks. If there weren't so many positive reviews at the beginning, everyone would be more cautions.

Albeit quite an expensive lesson, it still is a lesson learned.

It is sad though when you see someone who does have at least some understanding of his trade (SEO) turn into a scammer, even though he could be providing a legit service to all of us. Whitegun you may be laughing your way to the bank right now, but you will reap what you sew. And then you'll be learning YOUR LESSON. Maybe it will be a lesson even more expensive than ours. Maybe next time one of your family members will really get SICK, then you just may realize it's not that fun at all to spread lies around this at all.

BTW mine rankings are also dropped, and unfortunately I'm not able to do dispute, lesson learn. From now on I don't even look at service if person have less then 300post and must be VIP.

Bastard scammed many of us. Just his karma, I suppose to be robbing good people blind. Having suggested I pay him via paypal as a personal payment, there is no option to get a refund through them. Oh the highs and lows of SEO...
