maybe sb did not have the time to detect the fields, try to raise a little the timeout for slow commenting, maybe it could help...

It's on the standard 40seconds (that seem like forever to me), i was thinking less not more, as i am basically taking about 30hours to slow post ~3000 links (free proxies)

You could always try to find a common footprint on closed blogs. For example when commenting is closed on wordpress it will usually say it somewhere on the blog. So you could write "powered by wordpress" "keyword" -"comments are closed"

This might help with reducing the amount of errors. As far as Scrapebox not detecting the comment field, I'm not sure about that one.

My advice - whatever else you do, run the Alive check first to weed out dead sites. Then start winnowing the list as you wish, whether you're looking for good PR, good Alexa, lack of protection, etc.

Hi guys, I have a question, regarding the slow poster, some of the urls show "field not detected", I have run the blog checker to weed out unsupported types, and also the do-follow no-follow add-on, and once again only kept supported types.

The error description seems to state that commenting is not active on the blog, or something like that, is there any way I can filter that out earlier (before even starting to post), is there any footprint or add-on that can detect if comments are enabled in a blog ?

Do the blogs have comment forms if you check in a browser? If they do and you are getting field not detected, it could be a proxy gone bad and loading a blank page or similar in the background which of course doesn't have a form. If it has a comment form also you can try enabling the Manual Poster, load the blog and see if it detects and fills the form.

The blog analyzer shouldn't be returning closed blogs as good, it's pretty accurate.

As for support, the tools had over 200 updates and i've worked on this every day for the last year basically from the time i wake up until the time i go to sleep. It's 5:00am and i've been at it for 16 hours, hope that answers your question.

i have a problem with posts not sticking, I am using 10 proxies and postign every day, it says submitted but when I check it is never there.

Is my url blacklisted? How are you guys managing to do that. Also the accurate mode is not working for me, when I enable it or disable it there is not difference. Before ehen I have accurate mode enabled I could not sue computer at all, but now I can

I run the Malware and Phishing Filter Addon, Blog Analyzer Addon and then Check Pagerank.

At each step, I usually re-check errors at least one time, since I use public proxies and most of the time the errors a result of a bad proxy.

You might consider creating list of the MALWARE and URLs and other "bad" URLs you identify. You can load up your harvester with the URLs you want to check and then use the Manage Lists->Import URL List->Select the URL lists to compare feature with your "bad URL list" to remove "bad" URLs from the URLs in the harvester list. This will save you from processing URLs you already determined to be bad in previous checks.

Yes, it's possible. I'm running it using Virtualbox on Linux with 1GB Windows XP guest system. The most important thing is to use paravirtualized network drivers for the guest for best performance.

That is more than enough, you should have no worries there since SB is not that dependent on network speed (at least not your own, proxies is another story)

And then they do a "link check" to see if there is any auto approve blogs and sites.
So i guess there is one method to find out what sites have auto approve.

This might be a stupid question...

After harvesting a list of URL's and then removing duplicate DOMAINS, how does scrapebox determine which of the domain's URL to keep and which to remove?

Is there a way to control this?

IE. 5 URL's from the same domain. Use the Remove Dup Domains function. 4 URL's get removed, 1 gets left. If each of those URL's have varying PR, I'd lilke to keep the URL with the highest PR and get rid of the rest...Basically, prioritizing the high PR URL's from the same domain.

Hope that makes sense and wasn't answered somewhere else! (I couldn't find it.)
