That is a good question, I have never tried it! Perhaps if I install the correct language packs it will work. Post an example anchor text here and I will figure it out and let you know.

Yes, they get picked up by google / yahoo / etc.. I haven't been pinging any backlinks that I make but they still get picked up really fast. I send two reports in the end, one is an excel file that is detailed, the other is a text file that can be ran through a link checker or pinged with a program or at a website like pingdevice.com. As far as checking indexing, the best tool to use is yahoo site explorer, you will probably find that it has picked up the links within a week or two.

I usually do some "deep linking" to subpages in addition to my main page to spread it around the domain a bit, but others like to throw it all at the homepage. The "risk" involved has been talked to death on this forum many times and words like "sandbox" and "google dance" always come up. Most of the time when people complain that they have gotten their site "sandboxed" is actually the search engines chewing on all the new links and your ranking bounces all over the place for a short period before stabilizing (google dance). Any of the domains I have done have always returned higher in the end. There are two camps on this subject, one is "sandbox does not exist" the other is "I'm afraid of the sandbox". I am firmly in the "sandbox does not exist" category.
However
You can use as many url / anchor text combinations as you want, so you could link to say, 5/10/20 pages on your site, squidoo lenses that link to you, hubpages that link to you etc.. When I setup the campaign it will spread the links to all the different url's you gave me. Some people only want to backlink their "buffer" sites like squidoo and then link the squidoo page to their homepage, myself I always link pages on my actual sites and have good success.
