I'm trying to build up my Reddit account and my goal is to reach around 1,000 comment karma within the next 2-3 days. I'm not looking to spam or break any rules. I want to do it the right way by posting helpful and relevant comments.

The failed assumption here is that 1k comment karma in 2–3 days is a process you can schedule. Usually it isn’t. It’s either one comment catching a Rising thread, or a volume burst that looks fine until replies stop landing. Shadowban with a pretty number is still a dead account.
If you need an account you can still use in a month, stop optimizing for the screenshot. Two to four weeks of normal comments beats a weekend sprint on a thin profile. Fresh accounts get reported harder on mega-subs. Same comment quality, worse outcome.
What actually moves comment karma without teaching the filters you’re a bot:
Sort New or Rising. Hot is already crowded; you’re buried. Threads under ~100 comments still have room for a reply to sit near the top.
Be early, but write like a person. First 5–15 minutes helps. “Nice post” and FAQ paste die. A short take with one concrete example gets more votes than a polished advice wall.
Pace. If Reddit starts rate-limiting you between comments, you’re already in the danger zone. Burst commenting looks automated even when it isn’t.
Pick subs where you can actually speak. Big entertainment / question subs print karma and also print reports on new accounts. Mid-size niches where you know the topic are slower and safer.
Zero links while warming up. Product in the bio or “helpful” comments with a soft pitch turns the whole history into spam texture. Comment karma first. Promote later, if at all.
Skip karma-for-karma circles. Filters and mods don’t care that you farmed a number. They care whether the profile looks like real threads.
Two different jobs get mixed up in this thread:
Unlocking subs = clean comment history + enough karma to clear filters.
1k in 72 hours = mostly gambling on one viral comment.
If this account is for traffic later, the one that survives 30 days of ordinary comments beats the one that hit 1k overnight and then went mute. Account age matters more than people admit. Day-2 profiles and aged ones are not running the same race.
