how to hide your following/followers list on instagram

i have seen lot of people hidin thier instagram followers/following list but i cant find how to do it , everyone says send a message to the support team but that bullshit i tried it maany times didnt work

I think there is no settings available for this in instagram because your followers and following can see your list, for this you have to keep your account private so only your followers and following can see. Just go to setting then privacy then turn on private account. If you want this for specific person it is impossible you have to block that person so that he can't see your follower and following list.

go on the profile settings and click on general/profile setting to approve secure profile with the listed box ticked already and need to click secure profile only and save to get followers with upload secure from other profiles views.

You cant fully hide followers list on normal account. Only private account limits who sees it.
If someone hides it they use special account type or region test not normal setting.

Far as I'm aware, you can't manually hide your followers or following list on regular accounts.
That's either a private acc (the ones only approved followers have visibility), restricted or blocked accs, or creator accounts with limited visibility or something like that.

Support won't help with this; it's an algorithmic 'feature' Instagram applies to certain profiles. I've seen it happen more often after the recent updates. Is the account you're looking at verified?

seen this on a few accounts, but it wasn’t something they toggled manually. IG seems to limit the list on some verified/bigger accounts or random test accounts, same way they test features by region. If your account doesn’t already have it, support won’t switch it on... they’ll just send canned replies. Only workaround is private + remove people you don’t want snooping, anything else being sold as “method” is prob scam.
