Is Tumblr Still Worth Using Alongside Other Social Platforms?

I recently started spending some time on Tumblr again and was surprised to see certain communities are still quite active. It obviously is not as mainstream as some other platforms, but the engagement within niche interests seem stronger than I expected. If you are using tumblr regularly, then my question is for you - what are you using it for these days? Are you seeing any meaningful traffic, audience growth, or brand exposure from it, or is it mainly a supplementary platform in your overall strategy?

Tumblr isn't my biggest traffic source, but the audience is highly engaged and easier to connect with in specific niches.

It is just used by me as a platform that supports my marketing effort. These niche communities continue to exist, and even though they do not attract much traffic, they are quite active.

I've found Tumblr useful for brand visibility within specific communities, especially when I consistently share original, interest focused content.

I'm using Tumblr to increase engagement and drive traffic. It still works quite well, as long as you create content that's a good fit for the platform.

I'd treat Tumblr as a complementary platform rather than a primary traffic source. Its strength is niche communities where people actually engage with content they're interested in. If you consistently post original, visual, or fandom related content and interact with others, you can still build a loyal audience and get some referral traffic.

tumblr is possibly something to be considered as a secondary tool for driving traffic at the moment. your niche audience might still come in handy so long as you crate content that suits their tastes and interact with them.
