Nice tip. However, on desktop or laptop, on the browser, certain browser extensions do interfere with Facebook's functionality. So, better to disable or remove unwanted browser extensions in order to avoid this issue.

I beliieve that the reason behind this is due to the use of facebooks history from the device nd the network in the veriffication process. when one verifies from an environment that he or she is used to the system gets reasured that the process is legitimate. It is a very simple process but it does the job without having to make any adjusttments to the account.
