Major update to Google Ads Display campaigns from June 2026

Google Ads Display campaigns will be migrated to the Google Display Network (GDN) in the Demand Generation campaign starting June 2026.
This is Google's announcement regarding the update timeline, along with a comparison of similarities and differences after the update.
--- It is predicted that in the future, only two main campaign types will remain: Performance Max and Demand Gen, with the rest being sub-campaigns or Display Channels within the main campaign.
+ Performance Max includes Search and Shopping Ads.
+ Demand includes Video and Display.
