I've seen several posts in various places, and I've also read some threads about phone farms here. Since many large companies are using them, or rather, have always used them but now phone farms have become more popular, the question is: is it worth setting one up for my faceless channels?

Phone farms might work short term, but scaling usually creates detectable patterns.
Organic growth feels more reliable for faceless channels long term

It could be if youre trying to boost views fast but its not worth the risk long term better to grow organic and keep it clean

are faceless channels still a thing or has google cracked down on those by now

Yeah, it's definitely worth it, but only if you are super strict with your IPs.

The big companies make it work by using clean, separate proxies for every single phone. If you mess up the IP setup, you'll get shadowbanned instantly, but get that right, and it's a solid way to scale.

Patterns can always be spoofed. This is the case for everything, it just depends on your infra :)
Organic growth can also kick in inside a phone farm. "Organic growth" means you get traction by using the platform features.

Farming YouTube watch time or engagement with a physical device farm is a massive waste of capital. Google's heuristic models will instantly cluster the overlapping IP subnets and repetitive behavioral loops, resulting in a shadowban for your channels. The actual profitable application for hardware farms today is operating backend infrastructure specifically for bulk account creation or hosting offline SMS activation endpoints. For faceless channels, you are much better off reinvesting that hardware budget into scaling your high-resolution AI rendering pipelines.

Honestly, unless you're ready to manage 500+ devices and pay for top-tier mobile proxies, it’s a massive headache. Maintenance alone will eat all your time.
In 26, YouTube is too good at tracking hardware fingerprints. If you don't do it perfectly, you'll just burn your accounts. You’re better off focusing on high-quality behavioral signals through software ranking rather than building a physical farm. It's cheaper and way easier to scale.

Large companies usually have very good marketing, so setting up your own channel will be much better.

in my opinion for faceless channels, actually work is simple stuff like making better short videos, improving hooks in the first 2–3 seconds, and posting consistently. Real audience retention and good content will scale much more safely than fake engagement setups.

It is not worth it in my experience as the pattern will be easy discovered by google . Google is very advanced now and this methods dont work reliable anymore

Phone farms can work for testing and scaling but they are risky for long term faceless channels since platforms are getting better at detecting unnatural traffic focus more on good content and retention rather than relying on artificial engagement because that gives more stable growth

For facelees channel usually will not work if you create mass farm even the geolocation of those phone will give clue to the youtube that are bots as they will all watch from same location. So doing excesively will sure ban your channel

Wouldn’t see why not, a farms effectiveness doesn’t really rely on niche of channel, as long as you’re capable of sending out quality (CTR) traffic through it you should be good.

Phone farms can work for testing and pushing volume but for faceless channels they are not a stable long term strategy platforms are getting better at detecting unnatural patterns so growth usually depends more on content quality retention and consistency rather than artificial engagement systems

Setting up a solid foundation of content is crucial, and it's what I've seen make or break a channel, regardless of the tools you're using to give it a boost. Phone farms can definitely be a useful addition to your strategy, but if your content's not engaging, you're just wasting your time and money. It's all about finding that balance between creating content that resonates with your audience and using the right tools to amplify its reach. Using a phone farm effectively requires a bit of finesse, and it's not just about throwing a bunch of devices at the problem, it's about being strategic and nuanced in your approach. What's key is making sure your content's strong enough to stand on its own, and then using the phone farm to give it that extra push, rather than relying on the farm to do all the heavy lifting.

Phone farms can sometimes provide a short-term boost, but as you scale, the risk of getting caught in patterns increases. Real sustainable growth is what comes from genuine signals within the platform. It’s also true that an organic push can be triggered by a phone farm if it’s used solely to amplify reach, not to generate fake views. But in the long term, consistency, patience, and real user engagement are the most reliable strategies.

Phone farms will work however you need to follow isolation steps, anti- pattern detection steps to not get countered by youtube, the biggest headache that youtube has been cracking for years is the large phone farms run by russians, Vietnamese and etc groups, but these groups are untouchable at this point, they have perfected this method so well.

I’ve looked into it - honestly not worth it for most cases. High setup cost, a lot of maintenance, and platforms detect patterns anyway. Big companies use them at scale, but for faceless channels it’s overkill. Better focus on content + distribution, way more ROI.
