FB ads for B2B?

What's often overlooked is that FB's algorithm can get pretty aggressive with B2B ads, so you need to be prepared to deal with potential account bans or ad disapprovals. The silo idea of targeting specific job titles and industries makes sense, but it's also crucial to have a solid understanding of your target audience's pain points and tailor your ad copy accordingly. I've seen better results when using lookalike audiences and custom audiences, as they tend to perform noticeably better than interest-based targeting. It's also worth noting that while LinkedIn may be more effective for high-quality leads, Facebook can still drive a lot of volume and be more cost-effective, especially if you're targeting smaller businesses or decision-makers who aren't as active on LinkedIn. Ultimately, it's about testing and finding what works best for your specific campaign goals.

So why not target B2C?
It's actually not a bad option at all br

honestly b2b on fb works fine bc business owners r also humans and they scroll their feed just like everyone else. sometimes its even cheaper than linkedin if u target interests right.

just dont expect direct sales from first click.. use it for lead gen or retargeting. fb is great for building awareness even for serious b2b stuff if ur creatives r good.

FB can work for B2B if you target interests job roles well and use strong creatives it’s more about awareness and retargeting than direct conversions. For high-intent leads, combine it with platforms like LinkedIn or Google instead of relying on FB alone.

You could also consider B2B, but I don't think it would be effective. You should focus on advertising to increase brand awareness and directly connect with other business clients.

Well, FB is really good for B2C but it doesn't mean that B2B ads can't work there.

The mistake is treating it like LinkedIn with cheaper clicks. It doesn’t really work like that. People are not scrolling FB thinking “let me find a vendor”, so you have to target the right folks and let them know that your product/services can help them.

I'd use Facebook ads for simple offers: audits, checklists, demos, webinars, lead magnets, retargeting. If you’re trying to sell some high-ticket service straight from a cold ad, that’s probably going to be painful and expensive.

Also depends who you’re selling to. Small business owners, agency owners, freelancers, coaches, ecommerce people, local businesses — FB can reach them. Enterprise decision makers? Probably not.

One thing I’d test is not only interests/job titles, but audiences around specific communities. For example followers of niche pages, IG accounts, or FB groups. Tools like LeadEnforce can help with that. Then just compare it against broad and see which lead quality is better.

Many B2B advertisers use Facebook to generate leads and nurture prospects before converting them through calls, demos, or email follow-ups.

Facebook is definitely good platform for B2B marketing, but it really depends on your target customers. The lead generation cycle can be relatively long, so businesses need to consider the cost and investment before getting started

Do you guys recommend running FB b2b ads? I'm no expert but I see FB as a b2c platform, Correct me if I'm wrong
Fb ads works surprisingly well for B2B because decision-makers use FB/IG in their downtime, and CPMs are significantly lower than linkedIn. to make it effective, focus on lead generation funnels using lead magnets (e.g., case studies, whitepapers) or retargeting website traffic rather than pitching direct sales immediately

For B2B, the biggest challenge may be the offer rather than the platform. A clear demo, free trial, or useful resource can make Facebook traffic more valuable.
