Do you guys recommend running FB b2b ads? I'm no expert but I see FB as a b2c platform, Correct me if I'm wrong
You're right that Facebook is traditionally seen as a B2C powerhouse, but B2B can actually work very well if your targeting is precise. The key is to use Facebook’s 'Lookalike Audiences' based on your existing customer list or targeting specific job titles and interests related to business owners. While LinkedIn is the go-to for B2B, Facebook is often much cheaper for building brand awareness at the top of the funnel. Have you considered using lead ads specifically for collecting business inquiries directly on the platform?
I haven't run any ads yet. I'm first going to do some research and then start with test campaigns. I have never used FB ads, is it possible to upload any data to make the targeting more accurate or does the data need to be collected by running campaigns?
Yes, you can absolutely upload your own data! This is called 'Custom Audiences.' You can upload a CSV or TXT file containing customer emails or phone numbers, and Facebook will match them with their users to create a highly targeted audience. This is one of the most powerful ways to start because you aren't starting from scratch. Once you have that, you can even create a 'Lookalike Audience' to find new people similar to your existing data. It's much more efficient than just waiting for the Pixel to collect data from new campaigns. Have you already prepared a customer list for this?
FB is definitely more B2C by nature, but B2B can work surprisingly well depending on the niche.Do you guys recommend running FB b2b ads? I'm no expert but I see FB as a b2c platform, Correct me if I'm wrong
Right, facebook is primarily a b2c platform. Most people (including me) see it that way because the audience and buying behavior are very consumer-focused.Do you guys recommend running FB b2b ads? I'm no expert but I see FB as a b2c platform, Correct me if I'm wrong
Facebook ads can still work for B2B, but they are more suitable for brand awareness rather than directly acquiring customers.Do you guys recommend running FB b2b ads? I'm no expert but I see FB as a b2c platform, Correct me if I'm wrong
Yeah, Facebook is mostly B2C, but you can run B2B ads if you target carefully. Use job titles, industries, company sizes, or lookalike audiences to reach the right people. It won’t work the same as LinkedIn, but for some B2B products, it can be surprisingly effective.Do you guys recommend running FB b2b ads?
