I have recently started a website and I don’t have any budget for ads, so I’m trying to grow it slowly on my own.

How can I get organic traffic without using paid ads, and what should I focus on as a beginner to start seeing some results?

if no budget, the best ways to get (still quality) traffic that I can think of are...

- forums
- UGC sites (Pinterest, Reddit, Quora, DeviantArt, Stackoverflow, Imgur, etc...)
- social media
- classified ads websites (OLX, Backpage... I don't think this one still exists, but you get the idea) ... these are useful for ecommerce mostly
- business directories (passive traffic but very little of it if you don't have money, otherwise they are usually worth the investment, but obviously that they are mostly suited for business websites, if you have a blog you can ignore them...)

I can't think of anything else, but these should be enough to get you started until you earn some money to look into paid advertising, SEO, etc...
