How do you track progress in white hat SEO?

When focusing on White Hat SEO results can be slow.

What metrics do you track to know you're moving in right direction? Rankings, traffic, or something else?

Would appreciate some guidance.

track rankings and organic traffic first. also watch impressions in search console for early signs. leads or clicks matter more than just positions.

SERP rankings will be your best metric in my opinion, it shows exactly how much you are growing and shows valuable insights on the keywords you want to rank for.

I installed Search Console and monitored the Click Through Rate and the number of keywords ranking in the Top 100 in Search Console. When keywords started appearing and traffic steadily increased, it was a sign that white-hat SEO was having a sustainable effect
