The Three Commandments of BHW

Hi !
So, a complete newbie can stil post a buyer's post in the marketplace ?
They can respond to buyers, not create a sales thread.

To sell on BlackHat World Marketplace, you must be a Jr VIP or Marketplace Seller.

To reply to a Want to Buy thread, you must have an active Jr VIP, Marketplace Seller, or Premium membership. The rules for the Want to Buy section can be found here:

To reply to a Hire a Freelancer thread, you must have an active Jr VIP, Marketplace Seller, or Premium membership. The rules for the Hire a Freelancer section can be found here.

You can find more information about upgrading your account here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/upgrades.

Now I understand the three commandments of BHW, how can I contribute positively to the community

Flying into BHW in 2025. Reading through the rules to learn the ropes. I am excited to find this forum and learn more about marketing and SEO. It looks surprisingly active here. Off to read more newbie threads!

This is really helpful advice for me. I like how clearly the do’s and don’ts are explained here. I will keep this in mind while participating and make sure I contribute properly before anything else.

Appreciate the clear boundaries laid out here. A strictly moderated forum means less noise and higher quality connections when it's time to actually network or do business. The strict 'no spam' enforcement alone is why this board is still readable compared to others. Got it loud and clear.:)

Thanks for putting all that stuff in some pinned posts. Now, But where can I participate to gain the authority to sell on the market?

You can participate in most discussion sections across the forum to build activity and become more familiar with the community.

The best approach is simply to join relevant discussions, ask questions, and contribute helpful replies where appropriate.

There isn't a specific section dedicated to gaining selling privileges.

Instead, the goal is to naturally participate in the forum and add value to discussions over time.

Once you meet the Marketplace requirements and feel ready, you'll be able to apply to create a Marketplace thread.

Hi MrDenz, thanks for the reply. I'm trying to follow the step where I DM the seller on here 24hrs before submitting this dispute, but there is no option to do so (maybe due to my account age?)

I see that this post hasn't been commented on since 2018, so... I totally vibe with these and all other rules! Thanks for making this a safe place!

I am new to BHW and wasn't aware of these rules. I received a warning, then I saw your post. I finally realize why I was receiving those warnings. Thank you for providing such great information
