Is Black Hat Meta basically dead… or are people just gatekeeping?

Hey guys,
For the last ~6 months, I’ve been running Black Hat Meta, testing different setups, accounts, funnels, cloaking methods, etc. Some days it feels like Meta is completely un-runnable, and other days campaigns suddenly scale like crazy.

But lately, I keep hearing two opposite opinions:
1️⃣ “Meta BH is dead. Don’t waste your time.”
2️⃣ “Meta is still printing money if you know what you're doing.”

❓So which one is it?

From my side, I see a few things that still work (sometimes):
- Huge scale if you hit the right funnel
- Still insane traffic volume compared to most sources
- Works well for iGaming, Nutra, Crypto

What’s getting worse:
- Accounts burning faster than ever
- BM restrictions everywhere
- Setup maintenance is almost a full-time job

So I’m curious what people here are seeing right now in 2026.
❓Are you still running BH Meta profitably?

From what I’m seeing, Meta BH isn’t dead, but it’s definitely harder than before.

There’s still huge scale if you hit the right setup and funnel, but accounts burn much faster and maintenance is constant. Some days it feels impossible, other days it still prints.

So yeah, it still works, just higher risk and more work than it used to be.

It's terribly harder than before. Restrictions are coming from everywhere and setup/funnels that work usualy not stay working a long time. It require a lot of patience and skills to keep you fighting with more regulation. It also cost more than before. Btw profit are usualy higher due to less competition.

I wouldn’t say it’s dead, but platforms have tightened their systems a lot. Most people who find something that works usually keep it private.

I don’t think black hat Meta is completely dead, but it’s definitely much harder than it used to be. Facebook’s risk systems, AI detection, and payment monitoring have improved a lot in the last few years.
What worked in 2018–2021 doesn’t work the same way anymore. Now it requires better infrastructure, cleaner setups, and much more testing.
So it’s not dead — the barrier to entry is just much higher.

If you have good cloaking, strong accounts, and a solid funnel, it can still print.

But yeah, maintenance is crazy now.

Most people quit because keeping accounts alive is basically a full-time job.

It's not dead but cerntainly harder to do and replicate. Most BMs are banned after a few days or even a couple of weeks. You need to be consistent with your cloaking strategies and it still eats so much time to keep your accounts up and running.

From what I’ve seen recently, BH Meta isn’t dead — but the tolerance window is definitely much smaller than it used to be.

Most campaigns that die fast are usually running on setups that look “synthetic” to Meta: brand-new accounts, sudden spend jumps, or environments that change too often.

When accounts have some age, stable login environment, and spend ramps slowly in the first days, they tend to last much longer. Payment consistency also seems to matter more now than people think.

The biggest difference I’ve noticed in 2025–2026 compared to earlier years is that setup quality matters more than the offer itself. Two people can run the same funnel, but one burns accounts in hours while the other scales for weeks just because the account and environment are cleaner.

So I’d say Meta BH isn’t dead — it’s just become much more infrastructure-dependent.

Meta BH is still operating, but it's more challenging than before, requiring more effort and involving higher risks to achieve profitability.

From what I’m seeing, it’s not really “dead,” but it has definitely become much harder to run compared to a few years ago. Platforms like Facebook and Instagram (under Meta Platforms) have tightened their detection systems a lot, so account stability is a bigger challenge now.

That said, people are still making it work, especially with strong account setups, clean infrastructure, and good funnel testing. Like you mentioned, verticals such as iGaming, Nutra, and Crypto can still scale because the traffic volume on Meta is massive. The downside is exactly what you pointed out: account burn rate and constant maintenance.

In my opinion it’s less about Meta being dead and more about the barrier to entry being higher now. If someone has solid testing budgets and the right setup, it can still be profitable, but it’s definitely not as easy as it used to be.

Success at this stage isn't about how much money you "skim," but about how long you keep your account alive. Managing accounts today requires deep expertise in network infrastructure, clean browsers, and real user behavior to cope with Meta's periodic AI scans.

From what I see, Meta BH isn’t dead but it’s definitely harder than before. The traffic is still huge, but account stability and maintenance have become the biggest challenge.

I don't think so; many black hat advertisers are still getting good results, it's just that the censorship process is becoming increasingly difficult. If you have solid resources, you can still achieve the desired results.
