My first post ever here and I have been here for over a year now, I am looking forward to seeing the results :)

hi sweetfunny,

I recently bought the software, just am trying to get used to it.I did use the harverster /poster/ping features so far.Harvester and poster worked just as described on the videos eventough the success rate was a bit lower (I am still quite satisfied). However I tried to 'ping' feature with a Ezine article to increase the number of the view,it was only increased by 1.I tried both random delay and off the result was the same.I have done exactly the same as seen on the you tube video, any comments? I also tried to have the sites who has my backlinks pinged my site just for trial,I did not get a single successed ping. The error code was Failed 503 and Failed 302,I dont know what those are?

Could I also ask you to consider adding following features if possible:

1. an add-on that shows our own web site's backlinks with page rank, anchor text,follow/nofollow (the one like Traffic Travis have) I understand scrapebox has some of them on seperate add ons but I believe it would be great to have them in one place.
2.an add-on that shows you how your keywords rank for the chosen search engines, you obviously need to provide the keywords and the URL.

Thanks

Can you define your success rate?

Are you basing your success rate on what sbox says or when you actually check the links?

Accurate mode or not?

Based on what Scrapebox says. I do 50 blogs at a time and 49 will fail. I use slow commenter accurate mode.

Anyone having a problem with the manual poster? It is desperately slow for me. It seems to take forever to load each page. Is it me? My computer? or is there something I can change to speed things up?

The manual poster is based on IE core components. Its loading speed depends on IE. Also when the blog you load has lots of images, it will slow down the loading process of course.

Hi Guys

I intend on using scrapebox to link to my link wheels, I was wondering how many links do you build to each individual web 2.0 property each month? What do you find to be a safe amount? Also in regards to varying your anchor text, how many different keywords do you use, do you use a person's name with some of them to make it look more natural and what kind of percentages do you use? Basically how are you varying your anchor text?

I would really appreciate some advice on this as I have not been able to find much posted about it. 1000 thanks in advance.

I have problems about this tool. I use this tools and it said successful but when I check manually by going to that site (where I posted my comment), my comment isnt there.

Do you know why? :)

Because "successful" does not mean that it has been approved by the moderator! It simply means that SB has successfully submitted the comment to the blog. Give it several days and do a link check within SB to see if it has been approved. Better yet, wait 2-4 weeks to really see the benefit!

I just bought ScrapeBox :D i'm so excited :whoo::banana:

now i just gotta wait for activation

I did mention a problem about the ping feature before, now I am having dificulties with the Harvester and Comment poster.

I started harvesting keyword 'blog' from movable type of blogs (with no custom footprint selected and with random delay settings on) first with google and had only 197 commentable URLs where I asked for and 1000 (Is this the max you can ask?) and this is before removing duplicates.I sent them to the Comment Poster and started posting, the results were horrible, only 9 successed out of whatever left after removing the duplicate URLs (was about 110 I guess).None of the 9 comments were found.

I have 12 private proxies which I bought from anonymous-proxies net (I did not know scrapebox team recomennded some other company at the time) I tested them and they seem to be working well.

Then I tought I might be banned from Google and I tried AOL.It gave me 289 harvested blogs (all variables are the same as google harvest) and after comment posting I only got 12 success.

I went to Yahoo next and I got 997 harvested blogs (This is where I expected the others to be) but only 61 successful submitted comments.

Finally I tried Bing and the results were as follows 447 harvested and 21 success.

I would really appriciate any assistance please.:headache:

Well, this reminds me a bit of when I worked in tech support and some people would call in with reports like "My computer is acting up, your application won't open, and the virus-checker hangs every time I run it, and there's smoke coming out of the tower, and my dog has to go to the bathroom..." It was hard to diagnose so many different things all @ once, but I'll take a stab at sorting out at least a couple things here and see where we get.

1000 search results per keyword is an API limitation of the search engines. As far as success rate and number of links found, the success rate depends on a combination of factors that impact your effectiveness at evading the spam countermeasures (more on that in a minute). And I don't even bother checking links right after a run, between the impact of cookies and sessions and the moderation queue some sites have in place it's pointless IMHO.

As far as evading the comment spam countermeasures, it takes the right mix of voodoo to really pull it off. 12 proxies is really not that many in the vast scheme of things. Your comments need to be really heavily spun and you need a high ratio of comments:targets. For example if I am targetting 20,000 sites, I try to have at least 50 comments, each of which are spun to hell and back (the spintax can give you tens of variations per comment if you do it right). Throwing in multiple links in a comments can get your comment rejected automagically by some targets. Personally I believe that using spammy names (e.g. "Buy Biggerdick Pills") will get your comments chucked right quick.

Overall your reported success rates aren't that bad, but if you incorporate the advice and strategies discussed around these parts you'll do even better.

peace - gregs.

I just buy it and fills GREAT! Now I must learn to work with it :)

I have had it about a week so far and started off slowly. Firstly I will say that it was active shortly after payment and everything went smoothly.

Ive been selective, perhaps too selective and after a few days use have not one link is found from a few hundred submitions yet so not sure why, Its hard to know if they posted even tho the software says it has I guess. will stick at it.

When doing slow posting it would be nice to have a skip button, sometimes it is easier to spot unthemed or unsuitable urls during this process and a skip button would let you filter through some of the crap easier
