Could this domain rank easy?

Update: Website has ranked for 9K keywords, got 770K indexed pages and got about 1.1k-1.5k clicks from search daily.
Sorry to ask, but have you ever done link building? Do you think using tools like GSA for backlink building is very helpful for SEO?
Thank you for your response

Very BIG update. Website has ranked for 40K keywords, it got down to 2K and now is ranking for 10K keywords. It's google adsense approved now. It's generating somewhere around 30-40 euro's/month with a 3month cost of 21 eur for the webhost. So x3 ROI let's say. Some statistics:

Very good, I am still working hard for one dollar a day. By the way, may I ask what format the article is in? Is it generated by an AI from API prompts?

I can clearly tell you that has a very nice investment so far. Paid about 1$ to register the domain.
Recently i've paid 210 EUR for webhost for the entire year. Also paid about 50 EUR to extend the domain another 2 years.
Revenue so far:

Perseverence is the key. Hope you liked this topic.

I've bought this for a dollar. Now, do you think it will rank faster if i make a money site of it and i do 301 redirect all 404 urls?
you get what you pay for.
$1 will get you a spammed domain
at that point just register a new domain that hasn't been spammed to death

EDIT: I just saw your last reply to this thread and great job is all I have to say :D

I've been bought a domain with DR( Ahrefs) of 48.

Backlink profile

DR 48
UR 0
AR 916,133
Backlinks 252
All time 62.7K
Ref. domains 14
All time 12.7K

From backlink profile seems like a PBN and seems that it has been used for spamming very long time ago.

Domain is registered 30m ago, so stats may not be accurate 100%
There’s no guarantee it will work because Google acts differently now, but it’s still worth testing. Even if the result isn’t what you expect, you’ll gain experience from the attempt.

This domain will not rank faster just because it has DR 48.

Based on your metrics, it has all the signals of an abused or spammed domain and using it as a money site or doing mass 301 redirects is more likely to hold you back than give any boost.

Stats and earnings for the domain for year 2025. (as of today 26/12/2025).
Initial investment: 1$
Webhost for the year + one more year: 290 euro
Domain renewed for another 2 years: 55 eur.

Pure profit. Site it's just scraping and AI.

Old domain is easy to rank on Bing. Recently i tested a site. I have seen that google didnt start crawling but from bing i was getting traffic.
You can follow a trick which i applied my site. Just see bing webmaster daily and check new keywords. If you didnt publish article, just publish article by new kw. Its work like magic.

I officially got banned from Adsense. Final payment from adsense would be: 700 eur.
Total Adsense earnings while it lasted: ~4,000 EUR.
Switched to adsterra. Done so far: 62$.
Second method to monetize done so far: ~300 GBP.

Website still getting more traction after the G updates, still making money. But i've got banned from adsense and that's a loss. We would see in 1-2 months how much can adsterra generate with the second method. Maybe this change would actually increase the revenue.

Total so far: ~3825 GBP made.
Investment: About 300 GBP (initial domain payment + 1YR webhost + 2 year domain renewal).
Profit: ~3500 GBP from this single website alone. Looking forward to make the pure profit about ~10,000 GBP this year.
Hope this topic motivated a lot of people and my journey was helping you. I'll come back with an update once i have something major/interesting to show.

After about 30 days of testing adsterra i decided to switch to HiltopAds.

For the last 30 days adsterra counted 450k~ impressions with ~5.5k clicks, a total revenue of about ~170$. That's very very low compared to what i used to. Adsense generated a minimum of 15 to 25 EUR(not USD)/day. In best days i have made over 50 eurs/day.

The discrepancy between adsterra and adsense are quite high. While Adsense counter between 1-1.5K clicks/day and paid, adsterra barely counted 5.5K clicks in a 30 days span. I've tried contacting the support multiple times because i've had multiple problems with their ads, for example:
- pop-up redirecting to pages that gives "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL" error, waste of traffic here.
- native banners displaying same "low quality ad" of a crypto-website. So there was no diversity under the ad fill. -> poor performance.

Proof of earnings from adsterra:

A CPM breakdown of top 10 countryes:

By-placement stats:

As you can see from the stats, native banners show the most but due to the lack of quality, there was a mess and almost no clicks/conversions.
In the same time the popunder generated about 36K impressions. Taking in account that NativeBanner_1 showed about 209K times, you can see how big the discrepancy is.

As you can see the overall traffic is a mixed tier1-2-3, mainly tier3, but however, the all-time-cpm for adsense was about 0.77$ while you can see adsterra cpm was $0.37 even if they offer better CPC rates. My personal "run" with them left me a bit disappointed. There is not enought diversity when it comes to ads, there are a lot of popunder issues with the ads (basically redirecting to an ad that does not load) and the thing that sometimes they randomly message you to change the ad codes as the adblocker is not effective anymore.

That is some low cpc, You went through a nice journey with $1 domain I picked up $3 expired domain and I'm getting impressions and rankings in Google console a week after restoring the site :)

So far HiltopAds seems even lower. At this points it seems more profitable to just sell banners/guest posts and go for a content locker.

DR 48 looks decent on paper, but with only 14 referring domains I’d be careful about assuming the domain has real authority.

If the backlink profile really comes from an old PBN, I’d first rebuild the site normally and see how Google treats it. Redirecting all the old 404 URLs right away could bring back the same spam signals instead of helping the site rank.

I hear you but here is the results the $3 expired domain I picked up.I will give this domain a warm up first before adding new content to it

dr 48 alone doesn’t tell the real story. with only 14 referring domains that dr is probably inflated from a few strong links or old redirects. the “all time 12k referring domains” dropping to 14 is also a red flag. usually means the profile was nuked or cleaned after heavy spam.
ur 0 also suggests the current pages have no authority flowing yet.
can it rank? maybe, but it depends on what links are still live and relevant. if the remaining backlinks are decent and topical, you might still get some lift. if most authority links are gone, then it’s basically close to a fresh domain with some risky history.
personally i’d rebuild carefully, check anchors and history in archive, then slowly add diversified backlinks to see how it responds before going all in.
